Drumlanrig Cafe - Thornhill - Photo album

Very homely atmosphere, their homemade ice creams are amazing, limited in flavour selection means best in quality. The peach flavour was the winner hands down. The combination with the cake went so well. It was hard to stop eating. Very affordable price and really good value for money, along with to
Had Tuna Pizza 10 quid for a lovely pizza one of the best I have had really warm and cooked perfect with good ingredients, my friend was also impressed with his jacket potato, omlette and coffee. Would certainly go back and try the fish and chips as a few people had those and they looked very nice.
Family of 6 including 1 disabled person in wheelchair, traveled from Yorkshire. We were made really welcome, the food was good quality and the the portions were just right. Certainly would visit if in the area

A good every day cafe with a chip shop attached. We had pizza, it was very good, definitely a place to stop for lunch or dinner if you are in Thornhill.
Excellent takeaway Fish & chips reasonably priced @ £8.50.
Staff first class pie chips and beans ,ice cream to follow First class
Busy place at lunch time so the staff were rushed off their feet which meant we waited a short time before having our order taken. The food we had was very tasty and at reasonable prices.
Good traditional menu. Staff really nice Meals were great, just what we needed. Chips were lovely & a highlight. Large coffee was excellent.
Take away fish and chips were the best we have ever had! Highly recommended
Always stop here on our journey to relatives in Scotland. Set in the lovely Nith valley with good menu and very friendly service. Love the scotch pies
Small cafe serving basic food. It was clean and tidy and the staff were friendly.
Very pleasantly shocked to come upon this authentic Italian café in the depths of the Scottish lowlands. A most welcome surprise return of good old fashioned bliss. Will be making the commute from Moffat especially on a regular basis.
Great food.. reasonable prices.. great staff.
Stopped on way to Dumfries, had an excellent breakfast which was well worth the price.
Popped in for a quick coffee and cake. The cafe is a lovely bolt from the past and would remind you of an American dinner from the 50s. The coffee was really great, full bodied and delicious. The millionaire shortcake was super yummy 😋 too.
