After a fabulous week based in Holt enjoying the North Norfolk coastline/weather we decided to have our final (late) breakfast at Thornham Deli, before we commenced our lengthy drive back home to Devon. Again as per our last visit it didn't disappoint, after a brief 5 mins sat in the slightly fresh garden, we were quickly found a table inside by a very helpful team member. Immediately we were then informed that they were super busy (around 11am) and there was a 45mins wait on food. Totally agreeable to this as we didn't really want to leave Norfolk, we soaked up the atmosphere whilst sipping our veritable array of quality beverages. I have to say at that point we marvelled at the calm demeanour of all the team as they dealt with some quite tricky customers. I often ask myself why wearing a Breton top seems to bring the worst out in people, as though they have a real sense of entitlement!😡anyway (rant over)...true to their word, within 45mins 5 supreme examples of the breakfast menu were brought to our table exactly as per our order and as we all devoured them with gusto, whilst also witnessing a regular (elderly lady) respectfully seated alongside us by the owner and skilfully confirmed her food order within seconds of her arriving. Well done team Thornham (both front/back of house) you did great, yes it was busy, yes not everyone was happy, but you can certainly feel proud in making our visit a good one. So much so that we managed to leave with 2 bags of flotsam and jetsam for the journey home too! Thank you guys x

We visited on a whim today on our way between Burnham Market and Heacham where we are staying on holiday for the week. All I can say is wow, setting, food, staff were all fantastic. Would definitely recommend a visit and we will be going back again (hopefully before we go home).

Fabulous food, wonderful atmosphere, and perfect place to relax. Stunning 5* rooms, and some of the best North Norfolk has to offer in my opinion. Outstanding.

What a gem of a find. The food was fantastic and such a relaxing atmosphere. If we didn’t live 3hrs 45mins away it would definitely be our regular.

A fantastic find. For cake and coffee or for a meal. It’s so lovely. The soup and sandwich deal is always a winner. Chose to go here for birthday meal. Haddock Chowder was on the specials board... totally fantastic. The loveliest friendliest staff. I make an excuse weekly to head out that way 😍

What an amazing interior. Welcoming yet contemporary. We had lunch here - some of the most lip smacking food we’ve had in a long while. Outstandingly fresh and well prepared. I ordered Tikka marinated halloumi Mango chutney, roasted pepper, rocket, cucumber & mint yoghurt on toasted ciabatta. My husband went for a Tuna chipotle mayonnaise, Guacamole, tomato, red onion, pesto, roasted pepper, lettuce sarnie in granary bread! Both came with dressed salad and crisps.

Had a lovely experience at Thornham deli, very helpful and friendly staff when we went there with our toddler. They had seating that was family friendly, dog friendly and also casual cosy seating for a drink and catch up with friends. Food was nice and not bad value for money although it's towards the higher end. Staff we're happy to help when it came to table location and highchair access

We had a lovely stay at No.33 above Thornham Deli. The following day we enjoyed a superb breakfast and lunch in the Deli. Our food was outstanding, the service we received was fantastic and it was very busy as well. There is a nice shop at the Deli where you can buy local produce, snacks, gifts and housewares. We will visit again!

Lovely little deli, beautiful food etc offered. Obviously expensive, but in this particular case you do get what you pay for. The only huge negative is the parking, there isnt much at all, and there are a few other shops in the little enclave, when this is full its £3 to park for an hour at the sports club next door. Some sort of receipt/ discount ticket might be a good idea?

Went on assuming it was a deli meat style shop but turns out it's a larger restaurant so we stayed for dinner. I had steak with blue cheese toastie which was excellent and the bannaofee dessert was amazing.

Brilliant dog-friendly and gluten free-friendly option! Cannot get over just how many gf friendly options are on the list, including all day breakfasts, mmm! Coffee was great, and loved exploring the decor shop. Would have been lovely to have more groceries available to purchase, fruit and veg and some gf options to buy. There is a dog friendly indoor seating section at the far end, some great tables, very comfortable. Really enjoyed visiting, and really looking forward to coming back. Lots of parking, with green space and dog poo bins. You get 75 minutes free parking, after then you have to pay. If you spend over a certain amount, they take the charge off your bill.

A delightful , well run cafe with front of house staff who know their stuff and provide excellent attentive service. Also gold glitter footwear , attention to detail and customer needs only added even more to the fabulous experience. As for the food … we went twice for breakfast and were blown away by the quality of the dishes. Absolutely fantastic!! Dogs are well catered for and when we visited in Feb , a huge welcoming roaring log fire in the hearth. We will be back.

My favourite place to go for breakfast or lunch or just a coffee, all year round. Fab menu and the staff are always so friendly. The shop is a little pricey but beautiful, quality, quirky things and there's normally a sale area which is great. Really good for little presents. Funny cards too. Definitely worth popping in whilst on the coast.

Food very good with friendly staff. There is a lot of choice on the menu. It gets very busy, so you might have to wait a while for a table during the busy times of the day. Would definitely recommend. The shop is also delightful. I wish I lived closer.

We stopped here for lunch on a Saturday. A very popular spot with lots of choice on the menu and a great selection in the shop. The deli has some lovely baked products. The lunch menu is extensive but the food was underwhelming and didn't reflect the quality we had expected. The prices are also high. Love the doggy menu though and our pooch certainly loved his chicken lunch.
