Nice carvery, good size parking and polite people.
The food is good quality and quite tasty. Some of the vegetable pots were empty, and we had to wait and request to get fresh vegetables, but it is ok, no stress here. The carver could be a bit more generous 🤔 👍
I recommend them.
Came here for a Sunday lunch for my first time. I did call and book and I'm glad I did. It must be very popular here as it was really busy. We did get sat at the wrong table at first and someone came back from getting their carvery and we had been day there by staff. Mistake by staff unfortunately.
The three of us wanted a carvery, you have to go to the bar to order and then you are given a ticket to give in when collecting food.
Stood in queue which was quite long, nice choice of food and the chef was very polite and chatty which was nice. I really enjoyed my carvery and the meats were yummy. I did see a big selection of cakes in the cabinet which looked so nice. We didn't have pudding as we were so full but they do offer a "cake away" which is a good idea. The prices were reasonable. Only one thing I thought was a bit of an issue is how close all the tables were in the restaurant as you had to keep moving chair in when someone passed. Could be an issue if carrying plates of food past someone. Good first visit overall though.
The breakfast menu was affordable with sufficient choices to suit most appetites. They have full breakfast options but also had lighter offers such as bottomless tea and toast options for £1.99.Staff were super friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. There was plenty of seating. Everyone enjoyed their food. Recommend.
