I had a really bad day. And the employees Darcy, joey and paddy really made my day. They were the best customer service I've ever had. I felt welcomed into their cute family. What great bar staff, they were efficient and the time to talk to the customers and made you feel like family. The food was delicious. Brilliant staff. Love to stay and eat here again.

The food was really tasty for chain pub, beats any spoons. Refillable soft drinks are a massive bonus too. Good little play are for the kids and obviously it has fantastic outside space looking over the white water course and the Bararge. I haven't yet sat in the massive restaurant side or tried that menu/kitchen.

Went for breakfast first time visiting. Service was lovely the lady working that greeted us was friendly and helpful, explained the buffet options and seated us. Food was lovely lots of options and fresh food being topped up regularly you weren't left waiting for things to be replenished it was already done. Great price and atmosphere would definitely return again

Been a few times for food and drinks and it is generally good. Most recent visit was for breakfast, good choices and food was nice, but was very busy. Table was not cleared at all and it was difficult to catch the attention of any member of staff - even when it came to us paying. Staff were generally friendly and polite, but maybe not enough of them.

Went for the sharing Sunday dinner, good portion, nicely cooked and prices are reasonable.

We come here every Staurday morning for breakfast as my autistic daughter likes it. The staff recognise us now and are friendly and incredibly helpful. Booking is recommended as breakfast time seems to be increasingly popular now. Food is good and there is a good variety.

Nice, family friendly restaurant. Good service, good value for good food. We ordered 1 starter and 3 mains, plus 1 alcoholic drink and 1 juice for £62.

Pre booking in advance is recommended. Great views to the river. Tables outside and inside as well. They have extended menu such as breakfast, starters, sides, burgers, grill, fish and chips, desserts and steaks... Fast and friendly service. You won't be disappointed. Good quality /price.

Place was clean and well looked after. Staff were pleasant and professional. Food was excellent. It was hot and plentiful.. Definitely recommend to friends and family.

Had to leave a few words...visited the 28th Sept. Brilliant...a great atmosphere, fantastic staff and lovely food. So thanks to Chloe and her team, waitresses, bar staff and chefs....also cleaners...the place was spotless. 10/10

i had a birthday meal there today, all the staff made it special. i had leah as my server, rhys bringing drinks & gaz seated us. they allowed me to have full fat coke as a refillable and catered to my needs. everyone was so kind and friendly. i highly reccomend.

A spur of the moment meal which was absolutely delicious , the staff were really friendly and service was quick. Unfortunately they were sold out of sirloin steak but was recommend to try the rib eye which was soo tender and even better value with the 40% discount with the beefeater promotion . Would definitely recommend and will be returning .

Went for breakfast and is ok for the money as kids eat free. Sausage is poor quality and bacon salty but everything else cooked was really nice and you could order the eggs to your liking. Shame that the fruit was not topped up and missed having a choice of yogurts. But for the money it was ok. Looked at night menu and it looked very expensive for a chain pub! Will return for breakfast.

We had dinner in the Talpore, with friends the evening before taking part in the Resolution Run on Sunday 11th March :) Despite being quite busy, we didn't have to wait long to get drinks or orders taken for food, and when the food did come it was very well cooked! Our server, Emma B was lovely, and very helpful. Emma even made time to chat briefly to us after the run when we popped in for a cup of tea! Will definitely visit again when in the area.

Just witnessed staff at Beefeater Talpore doing Heinrich manoeuvre on some poor guy. The staff did a fantastic job and all was well in the end. Well done to all the staff involved and glad the gentleman involved was ok in the end. Food and service carried on as normal. Very professional team.

Wife and went last night for my birthday. The staff went out of their way to make it a special night even sang happy birthday to me. Food was superb service was good would recommend

Often call in for a drink and the staff are always chatty and friendly. Went for a meal last night and service was great, food good and hot, even though the restaurant was full with Christmas party groups, and staff were dashing about. Tables were kept clean after guests left. All round a good night.

Appalling service and food. Microwaved food at a higher price than the local independent fresh food restaurants. Avoid avoid avoid!

Friendly staff,food ok, but Toilets let the place down

Slow poor service, waited 50 mins for food which wasn't the best and there was hardly anybody in, won't be returning in a hurry!

I visited with my Mum and partner 2 weeks ago before attending Joe McElderry in concert and we were very warmly welcomed by Donna and Emma B who both took great care of us and attended to our every need. Food was superb and the service second to none! Last Friday, I visited with my Mum and called around 4pm to make a booking for 6.15pm and Jack took our booking and found us the table we requested. He also came to check on us during the meal! The service from Emma B and Ronnie was again superb and they took time to have a friendly word! The Food, we both had steak, was beautiful... steaks to perfection, chips swapped for jackets as requested and extremely fresh salad!! Tonight, my partner and I called in and were warmly welcomed and again greeted by Donna, Emma and Ronnie who always have smiles on their faces..as well as another girl (I think called Chloe... who is always very friendly). Other businesses could learn so much from Natalie, the manager, and her staff. Customer service is outstanding and a very genuine, friendly welcome always awaits you! Not to mention the food... always fresh, cooked as requested and always hot and beautifully presented. Keep up the great work!
