One of the best Sunday dinners I have had in my life, staff were great and so customer focused. The place was beautiful and to eat outside in the garden with the little pond in the sun was awesome. The price of our meal was well worth the quality of food we got.
Spent 7 nights in the nearby lodges, amazing food, Sunday carvery was 10/10, lovely family/pet friendly place...can't recommend the place high enough
We have just been for a lovely woodland and lake walk with the dog. Afterwards we called in for cake and a drink. The cake was amazing and the staff very friendly. I would highly recommend spending time here.

Fantastic food and friendly people. Ate twice here, once Friday evening and today for Sunday carvery. Both times meals were spot on. Thoroughly recommend... May sink in the hot tub now though!!
2 nights of eating here and all I can say is WOW the food is 1st class and the portions are large. The only thing we could say is why it's not packed out the door on a Saturday night. Highly recommend and can't wait to see what the rest of the week produces. Well done to all staff
Went to Manhattans Last night and was throughly impressed with every aspect of the place. The service was fantastic, Bar well stocked, good atmosphere and the food was amazing. Having nachos to start and a thai curry with noodles and chips. I will definitely be going back.

Really can't praise this place highly enough. We stayed in the lodges over Xmas and had lunch on Xmas day at the Watermill. It was nothing short of excellent! Plentiful and of a very high standard. The afternoon tea was by far one of the best we have had also and over the time we stayed in the lodges, The Watermill became our local - a very friendly atmosphere and always a warm welcome! All credit to manager Darren and his staff who did a fantastic job with everything over Xmas. We look forward to coming back again! Thanks!

We've been here a few times over the years, when stopping at the nearby lodges at Woodland Lake Lodges. It's always been a good experience and tonight's visit was good also.
Kids had margarita pizza π (crust shaped with bulls horns π) tomato π
sauce was plenty under a yummy cheese topping.
One of the kids had spaghetti π bolognese and ate the lot! She really enjoyed it.
The adults had double cheese Burger π that came with fries π and hunters chicken that came with fries π. All very tasty and filling.
The staff were really friendly and service was quick π
There was a play area just outside that is cordoned off so no escaping π
Bouncy castle was up also π€©
The place itself was very clean and the kitchen had an open view.
Toilets π» were clean

Amazing food and very friendly staff. Dog-friendly but booking recommended. We enjoyed our food and drinks but we were seated near to a large family group who were very loud and spoiled the atmosphere a bit.
Absolutely beautiful meal..cooked to perfection and served by lovely friendly staff. Head chef came out and spoke with customers...he wont be disappointed with the feedback. Definitely be back and definitely worth a visit!
This place is a hidden Gem. They say it has the best beer garden in Yorkshire. But I would say one of the best in the Uk. The food was amazing and the Staff were very helpful and pleasant. We will definitely be back.

Food is fantastic. Sunday lunch (3 courses if you can manage it) was beautiful. Very friendly staff, we have been eating here for about 5 years and i must say the food now is the best it has been.

What a lovely place service was great food was really tasty would definitely eat here again if I was in the area I have fished at woodlands many times but never visited the watermill we are staying in a log cabin so called in for our tea glad we did
Food was nice and waitresses nice and polite...we tipped at end of the meal... but weren't advised of a hidden service charge wouldn't of tipped otherwise.
Had the 1.4 kg tomohawk and it was phenomenal. Melt in the mouth. It has ruined other steaks for me. Would definitely recommend, well worth the price.
Friendly staff, lovely outdoor seating area, and outdoor play area.
Really enjoyed the food however waited almost an hour for desserts (think they forgot about us)

We ate here on the 25.3.23 as a treat on our honeymoon. The service was incredible. The food was exceptional to say the least. We dined with both our young children, the children's portions were more than generous, and in our opinion perfectly priced as normally you pay high end prices for chicken nuggets and chips and they are less graceful than McDonald's.
My youngest ate all of her haddock and chips. My eldest got spaghetti bolognaise both ate every scrap of food. My partner got the linguine tiger prawns, perfectly cooked. I ate haddock and chips. Perfectly cooked, generous in portion size and worth every penny spent. The attention paid by the waiting staff was top class, the food was in another league. Cooked and presented with love and care. I hope the chefs enjoyed cooking the food as much as we enjoyed eating it. This meal out was a real treat for us and we enjoyed every single mouthwatering mouthful. When we are back in the area we will certainly be heading back here.

This place is a gem, We had two evening meals here on a Wednesday and Thursday. The meals were outstanding, Haddock n chips best I,ve had, Pizza fantastic. Thumbs up to Rob,the waitresses and obviously the kitchen staff. A little pricey but overall fantastic.

Nice place, but you would need a 4x4 mentality to get to it to avoid the hundreds of potholes! Carvery was good with self service vegetables. Best to ask for a hot plate if coming early. Thereβs table service for delish desserts if you have any space!
Seating inside and outside very calming along with the Koi Carp. Kids bouncy castle was a plus and would recommend dark socks! Safety flooring was an excellent idea.
Had a very good meal last night, we were made to feel very welcome even before we entered by a staff member outside. And when we entered we were instantly greeted with a smile and a welcome. Our waitress was incredibly attentive to our 3 year old son. The food was incredible worth every penny and great that you can see it being made in the kitchen, I couldnβt manage it all but didnβt want to waste any of it was very tasty so they put it in a takeaway pot for me. A hidden little gem with a visit.
