What a fantastic place to stay in Thirsk. Wonderful decor. So charming everywhere. Quiet hotel at night. They went out of their way the day I left to send a meal with me since I missed breakfast. So kind. Very helpful staff getting the luggage up the stairs.
Lovely lunch. Top notch ingredients, beautifully served. Really enjoyed. Have been before and will definitely go again!
Lovely clean, fresh and warm. Gorgeous food. Really wonderful staff. Had a great time. Some rooms in hotel and some in the annex. All clean and unabused! Thanks for a lovely stay.
Popped in for a bite to eat following the gliding experience. The restaurant was busy and we were seated quickly. A pretty eclectic menu with a good variety of choices. The service was swift, attentive but not overwhelming. The food was terrific. The lunch time roast meat sandwich is fabulous. An ex
Good hotel, The Kathleen hall bedroom, huge! Bedroom 20 bathroom tiny, but managed for one night, any longer would have been a problem. Good food, good private parking very helpful staff. Nice view from bedroom.
We didnt stay but had the best dinning experience. We are from New Zealand wanting to experience a Sunday Roast. He chose Beef and I chose Pork and boy it was the best Roast and meal i have had in the UK. We followed up with sticky toffee pudding and a cheesecake. All swallowed down with a great NZ
What a charming place! The hotel is historic but comfortable. Lovely bar and reception rooms and the restaurant was great. We had dinner and breakfast there. Dinner was ok but breakfast was fantastic. Our room was comfortable and welcoming. Sadly the mattress on the bed was saggy and made for a roug
Lovely market town location, gorgeous decor inside. Cracking Sunday sandwich menu as option, belly pork ciabatta to die for!!!
Great place to stay - lovely rooms. Thirsk hasn't a lot of places to eat in the evening though.
Very nice space!! Delicioso food 😋 Very friendly staff!! I Will be back. Thanks! I recommend!
Nice dog friendly pub. Only had coffee and cake, but it had such a nice atmosphere
Grand old place right on the square. Lovely staff but surprisingly expensive. Food slightly dearer than others nearby but drink was 3 times the price of everywhere else. If you are just thirsty I suggest looking elsewhere. Shame because it's a nice place
A lovely coaching inn, which served a fantastic breakfast by great staff. Special thanks to Sandra, Isabel and Di. Would definitely return.
