Brilliant Gem of a Country inn , just outside Thirsk , stumbled upon it by chance while out visiting English heritage sites . They were extremely busy when we called in but seated us for a meal with no fuss at all . The meal I had A roast pork dinner was superb , and my partners meal a roast beef
Lovely pub and garden, friendly and helpful staff. Beer and cider choices are great quality. Parmesan fries were very nice too.
Just returned home after a lovely weekend at the Carpenters Arms. Our stay in one of the garden rooms was perfect. Lovely room, delicious food and drink and really fab and friendly staff made it a very special weekend away. Took our little dog who also loved it! Would 100% recommend.
