Brilliant time in here earlier this evening. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was great too. The dhakashawari is a must have dish, while an accompaniment of something spicier is recommend too, such as the Rajeshwari, which is what we had. Thank you very much, I highly recommend this place to anyone in Theydon or the nearby areas…amazing!
Absolutely lovely Indian meal.. my mix grilled meats, tarka dhal and bhindi was very well cooked.
Hopefully we will return to try some other menu items!

Generally great food! But the Saag Paneer comes with the cheese melted which wasn’t our favourite. Other than that, always a good meal :)
quality service, quality everything. My lamb was a little tough but the flavours were exceptional, as with all the other foods defo coming here again, think I will make this my new goto Indian restaurant. A bit noisy but I did go on a Saturday night. £50 per head I'm afraid
Went here for a close friends leaving Dinner, the guys are always amazing.. service was great the food was great and the company was good. The starters I had garlic mushrooms and this was lovely and the salad on the side was lovely. For my main I had the tandoori mixed grill this came piping hot a a sizzler plate was so delicious I had this with the garlic naan and that was beautiful. Dessert I had the mint ice cream and it was divine.. it’s a must visit. Everyone else had a variety of curries and rices it was all really good.
It is a very busy eaterie with friendly owners, parking within 5 minutes walk, tasty food and they will adjust ingredients to your requests, very busy on a Tuesday evening but no pressure to give table back, service and speed of receiving food after ordering excellent, we will be returning
Had a lovely experience dining at Indian Ocean the food was amazing! All of the staff are very lovely especially Sam he was so lovely gave the best service! Will definitely go again :)
We have been here twice in the last 10 days (04th October & 12th October) and on both occasions the food has been very good, service superb and a really warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk in the door.

Arrived at the Indian Ocean for evening service whereby I was dining with former school friends, teachers, and their partners.
As is always the case, the staff were hospitable, efficient, polite, and the service was exemplary. The food was of the highest quality, well presented and extremely tasty, which all added to a wonderful dining experience.
When in Theydon Bois, I would recommend Indian Ocean as a must visit place to eat. Due to its popularity, it is advisable to book a table to be on the safe side.
I go there often, with chick. Sometimes with mates. Sometimes I do take out. Good food, tikka masala is brilliant! Always good staff, welcoming, busy on thu/fri/sat/sun. Recommend a visit. Well worth it.
This place is a must visit. Me and my friends come all the way from central london on our days off to eat here. The food is beyond incredible and we are satisfied every-time, the smell the flavour the taste just beyond amazing. The staff who are absolutely incredible, amazing service and will always assist you when you need it. We are in love with place it never misses, big shoutout to Sam Jack and Jamal who always make us feel welcome, we love you guys and we love your place, thank you so so much! Parking is also very easy, literally 30 seconds from the restaurant! <3

This is from Belle, Aven, and Layia!!! The best food ever !!! We are from central London but we travel all the way down to eat their beautiful food. The dupiaza is the most delicious thing I have ever had. The service is incredible such kind and funny staff. Everytime we come, Sam, Jamal and the rest of the amazing staff always make us feel so welcome!! We will continue to come back here regardless of the journey <3
Food was really good with efficient service. Some of our party had to wait on a few dishes for the main. Overall good experience and definitely worth a visit.
