Great fish and alway fresh and hot. Never had a bad meal .
This was without doubt the best fish & chips I've eaten in ages.
Had haddock twice and a pineapple fritter with chips, fresh taste, great flavour haddock, and the batter was so crunchy and sealed the fish beautifully, if I lived closer I would be in more often. But I shall return.

This was the first fish and chips place I'd eaten at since arriving in the UK. I've eaten at a few more since then, but none have been better than this one. Maybe it's time I go back and just concede it's the best one in my local area.
Possibly the best fish and chips around Thetford. I wouldn't say this is gourmet but for fast food and your typical Fish & Chip shop, they are a step above the rest. They offer exceptional quality in terms of taste and texture, plus good value for money. Not too greasy plus have a good variety. The only thing missing is a battered Mars bar or Snickers.

We love Croxton fish bar, always very lovely food, however our only mention is, maybe more service with a smile next time and less arguing amongst yourselves while serving the customers.
Really enjoying the fish and chips from here. We're regular customers. Batter is usually lovely and crispy. Chips are almost invariably excellent with good crispiness and flavour. The fish was already lovely, I'm told, but for the last several weeks it's been skinless, which has made it even better, I understand.
Friendly staff, too. Happy to recommend - definitely my favourite in Thetford for several years, now.

Very good local fish and chip shop with the usual favourites on offer.
The chips were crunchy and delicious.
Service was quick and it wasn't too expensive.

Tuesday night is gluten free and they do a really good gf Cod and chips. All the staff are.friendly and the lady who usually takes our order is terrific, next time I go in I'll ask her name and update my review.

Good quality fish, generous portion sizes as very reasonable prices. Although the batter was a bit on the heavy side, it did however keep the first moist on the inside. Overall good experience and recommend it
I like to think of myself as a bit of a connoisseur on fish and chips they were some of the best ever the fish especially cooked to perfection.
You might have wait awhile for it to be cooked if you go at busy time but it is well worth it.
Everything and I do mean everything is spot on at this fish shop. Great food no matter what you have. Generous portions. Great Decor and spotless hygienic conditions. Great service (with a smile) Seating area for the occasional small wait at those busy times and a TV.
At busy times (Which are getting more frequent as expected with a popular chippy) they put on enough "Good Quality" staff so the wait is minimal if at all.
Telephone orders for collection and payment by card make it so convenient.
Highly recommended. And I am a local genuine customer.
you can judge a good chippy by the queue outside and therfore this is a great chippy..... I am a vegetarian and have never seen more chippy based options for me.... they even have a mushy pea fritters... I know battered mushy peas...genius.... the others at my home aren't veggies and they also seem very happy... but a battered mushy peas.. bless these beautiful folks.. the service is great and they are super nice... great place.. if you get the chance..go there.. lots
