Update: 09/04/2024 - The ‘Mega Breakfast’ was all very tasty and cooked exactly as I requested. Another good experience in The Chase Thetford !
Date of Visit: 26/02/2024 - The service was excellent with the food being tasty and reasonably priced. Lots of deals on the menu i.e ‘Curry Night’ etc, which my wife and I will give a whirl the next time we’re in the area. All staff we encountered tonight were very pleasant and the check-back and upselling of desserts was also done with the minimum of fuss. We shall definitely return - Thank you for your service :)
The Chase team truly make a family meal worthwhile. Pub nice and clean, facilities kept clean. Great food, absolutely brilliant. Thank you.
I've given this review an extras star in each category simply on the basis of value and almost impossible promotional offers here which cannot be bettered anywhere else!
Food can be a hit n miss here but I've never had to complain because this is in the cheap and cheerful sector. However, at times the quality of the food really does surpass expectations. Great atmosphere, excellent value. Always on my list of places to eat when considering eating out. Well done Hungry Horse.

What an absolute gem, in such a beautiful town. Steve the manager was absolutely fantastic. Children absolutely loved it. Cannot fault the staff & the food. Will definitely be returning. Thank you to everyone who works hard at the chase
Very good service at the Chase today. Food came out quicker than previous visit and cooked perfectly. The staff are very polite and never seem to stop. Keep up the great work because it clearly shows that the Chase is being run very efficiently
Typical good value Hungry Horse. Unfortunately on the occasion we visited with a large party a meal was missed off the list, even though the lady behind the counter checked it back.
Food was very good value and ample parking for when we visited.
Steve the manager was great! We was a big party without a booking, but he went above and beyond to fit us in and make us feel welcome. His customer service was lovely. The chase are lucky to have him!

When I was exiting and entering I felt Realy welcomed which made me feel good about the place ❤️ the drink I ordered ( ginger apple cheer ) was absolutely to die for

We had a couple of poor experiences here several years ago and it put us off the Hungry Horse chain. But time mellows the memories, so we tried it again and were pleasantly surprised.
The tables were clean as was the pub as a whole. The televisions at the tables weren't working but as we were chatting it didn't make a difference.
Food was ordered via the app and the drinks arrived 3 minutes later. All correct and the Americano coffee I had had a good flavour, medium roast. Fiod arrived within 10 minutes of the order, very good indeed. My mixed grill was all good and cooked to perfection.
I'm glad we risked another visit here, well worth it and good value for money. Would recommend it for a family style meal and we'll be trying it again soon I'm sure.
W come for drinks and the sports tv/pool table and absolutely love it. Great pool table, not too expensive to play, loads to space to play. Lots of fun!!
Not been to the chase for a while due to a poor visit on food. We tried the festive menu and I was amazed with the quality of food and the value for money. The service was on point and just made us feel welcomed. Pub was clean and tidy and really had changed my opinion on the pub. Can’t wait to come back.
