This place always exceeds my expectations. Fabulous staff who always go the extra mile.
This visit was to celebrate my Mums 81st birthday. We booked on line and requested an easily accessible table. My request was acknowledged but we could choose as at that point they wasn’t too busy.
The food and drinks were superb and it made my Mums day when her Chocolate Fudge cake had a candle on!

The bar staff are brilliant! Tate and Billy we're very attentive, nothing is too much trouble and it was a pleasure to be served by them! They handled situations well and I think they are a definite asset to your team!! Well done lads, will definitely be returning because of them! 😊

I can honestly say the white horse is a changed venue, as a local to the white horse I have seen a vast improvement since the management changed , I find the pub to be spotless , clean and friendly and the food is exceptional, at long last the pub is being refurbished and its clear that this pub will be a pillar of the local community for years to come , thanks to the management and the staff which are warm and welcoming. We'll done and thank you for giving us somewhere to meet friends in a fantastic atmosphere.
Had traditional Sunday lunch. Beef, roast potatoes and Yorkshire excellent but other vegetables very al dente especially the broccoli which was basically raw. We complained and were given a discount. Coffee and mini dessert very good.
Nice pub/grill. Very family friendly.
The only suggestion would be to clean the tables and menus as they were super sticky, lol.
But overall, it is definitely 4.5 out of 5.
Absolutely a great place to eat. Plenty of variety on the menu and food is piping hot when it is served. The gammon steak and rump steak are tender and well presented .Excellent staff always polite. Also had breakfast here plenty of choice and freshly cooked. Would definately recommend.
First visit to the White Horse was fantastic, food was all cooked to perfection. Large pub menu with for the quality and quantity you get I thought it was too cheap believe it or not. Will be recommending this place to a lot of people. Can't wait to visit again. P.s the boneless crispy chicken wings are out of this world. Plenty of parking, friendly staff. 10/10
I must say I came here a few years back and I swore I'd never return but just wow, the food was amazing, the staff were so friendly. We were that impressed we only came for dinner and stayed there 4 hours. I do think that I'll have to go a further few more times though as it wouldn't be right not trying everything on the menu 😊 Go on treat yourself you won't regret it, oh and finally their champagne was excellent. A extremely happy customer.

Second time we've been here and we'll what can I say, incredible food again and the staff are always giving a proper clean, tables chairs even cushions, also started to rain outside while having a cigarette the manager came outside with an umbrella for us, now that is service son spilt his coke (always one) they came straight over cleaned it and replaced the large coke free of charge, this is the best place we have been to by far and will definatly be coming again thanks guys keep up the good work.
Great breakfast . the breakfast chef kath makes the best breakfasts always cooked to my liking crispy bacon crispier hash browns . Karina and Kirsty are always bubbly and service is always with a smile

Not a single soul behind.the bar since 1862........ no fear of getting intoxicated, cheap but dry, try the anvil. Jokes, amazing boozer, staff are fantastic.... when they turn up.
Went in yesterday dinnertime for a spot of lunch and it definitely didn’t disappoint, the food was amazing and so was the hospitality, the staff cant do enough for you. There is also a new manager (Dave) and his lovely wife who are also very nice people nothing is to much trouble cant wait to be back again thank you for a lovely afternoon.
Fabulous pub, great food, very friendly and helpful staff and our dog was made very welcome. Will definitely returning
