The manager, Nicki, set aside a portion of the pub for a wake so we could celebrate the life of our dearly departed mom. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful. There was plenty of delicious buffet food for everyone and the staff even packed up the leftovers into food trays for us to take away. Everything was smooth and stressless; just what we needed on such a sad day. Thanks to everyone at the Hardwick for your help.
Had a meal tonight which was good , but the burgers were over cooked and crispy round the edges and a little dry. A burger should be moist. But overall the meal was ok. It was good to see that it is a dog friendly pub but one lady had her dog sitting on a chair feeding it dog biscuits that is a total no no. The lady seemed to be a regular so please management deep clean all the tables.
The pub is clean and homely. Real fires make it a cosy place for a drink or a meal.
Service was excellent. Food lovely and came quickly, hot and fresh.

First visit with my friend yesterday a very nice restaurant the meal was very nice.

A great local pub, part of an affordable chain. Friday nights will be really busy and set you back long bar waiting times, but thatβs nothing out of the ordinary. Friendly staff, good amount of parking. Food is pretty standard pub grub, but drinks are reasonably priced
Went with friends . It's cosy and clean . We had food and drinks .
The only issue was the staff and food was very slow took an hour to get our mains to us and then they were not the hottest and my steak dish seemed like it had been microwaved before coming out to me . Skin on sauce and steak went chewy as did prawns . At Β£16.99 I would of expected better .
Overall would go again .

Great deals on meal offers, meals were OK I ordered chicken bacon and leek pie which was a bit dry, gravy was qatery and small amount of mash, the kids meal had more mash than an adults meal. Some great offers for children's menu aswell. The service was a bit slow considering it was quiet in the pub. Flies flying around all our meals.

The staff were excellent. We enjoyed the starters. My son had the ribeye steak, which was excellent. But I had the rump steak which was overdone and tough.
Victims of their own success. It was quite busy and they didn't have everything on the menu. The service was good though and there was a great friendly atmosphere.
Yeah it was nice, had 3 courses and 2 cocktails for 2 of us and spent about Β£52, had s.o.t.beach cocktail which was delicious and then the woo woo cocktail (first time trying one) which was exceptionally sweet but my friend said that's how they taste so personally I wont have that particular one again but you may love it π€· .

Booked a table online as these guys are always busy of a weekend. Staff were polite and helpful. Service was quick. Food was fresh and tasty. Pub was clean and tidy. Would visit again!
Had a fantastic experience for Sunday lunch at The Hardwick Arms. Lovely food, great price as 2 course for Β£12.49 if having Sunday lunch. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Lovely decor and atmosphere. Spotlessly clean. Definitely will visit again
Busy pub with not enough bar staff to deal with the number of customers. Food services were good. The vegetarian selection is very limited, in fact quite poor, but what we had was very nice. The linguine was tagliatelle, which was just slightly overcooked. The tomato sauce was tasty & the vegetables in this were really nice. Garlic Ciabatta was tasty.
