Brought my family here for my son's 18th meal and it was a really welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly, and the food was delicious, well worth the money! First time visiting and it definitely won't be the last!
I was greeted by a polite and friendly member of staff behind the bar, who took our drinks order. we were asked if we required anything else before being told the final cost of the order. once payment was made we were thanked for our order, before finding a place to sit.
A very satisfying experience
Had booked a table in advance, but it was not ready when we got there. Ordering food was easy and the bar lady was very helpful. Food did take quite a while to come but when it did was very tasty. Desserts was delicious too. Friendly helpful staff.
Very nice evening meal. Gammon and eggs were excellent. We also had a sirloin steak, well done; that was just as my wife likes it, well done.
We would also recommend the caramel crumble apple pie with custard, very nice
The sevice was excellent.

Food was good. Drinks a little expensive.
The last time we ate here the waitress couldnt be bothered to find any english mustard for my steak. However on this occasion the gentleman serving us went out of his away to help and find some from the kitchen.
We had a lovely time. A young girl named Niamh was wonderful. Very attentive, always smiling and very polite. I hope she does well. An Ember Inn, so a known standard of pub chain food. Ample parking. Usually have two or three ales available. Bar service is painfully slow. Live music brings in a good crowd, but they don't seem to staff the bar accordingly, although they are friendly enough
First experience here today, you’re instantly hit with a welcoming atmosphere! Staff are very friendly, couldn’t fault the service. The food was lovely, we will definitely be returning!
I especially want to mention the manager Grant, made sure we had everything we needed, a real credit to the pub.
Another local pub I hadn't checked out in ages. What a change, and all for the better.
Lovely decor, and just as importantly, a good range of beers on draft. Some very tempting food on offer - think I'll be paying a return visit soon.
First time visit, busy outside as the sun was out, a lot quieter inside, we all ordered food which was very nice. Lots of drink choices and a good menu with some good offers on certain days. The young lady who served us was very helpful and polite, would recommend, and will definitely use again
Very relaxing atmosphere, lovely fish and chips and perfect pint of Timothy Taylor's landlord. Will be returning very soon for more delicious food.

Nice place to have bugers, chicken wings or pasta. Large sunny terrace is a huge bonus. Staff is friendly. It's not crowded and has lots of parking.
Lovely food, good portions only criticisms I have is cutlery should have come out before the food and children’s meals should come out before the adults however, service was fantastic at the table and the bar!
Nice place with some decent ale, but it was obvious that our arrival at 2210 was an annoyance as the place was empty and the staff wanted to go home early. A shame as the pub has potential, beyond just looking after foodies.
Warm friendly welcome from the moment I walked in. Mel was very prompt in serving me. Food and drink quality was excellent. Would reccomend to friends and family.
I had my wedding reception at the fox , the buffet was amazing, the service was great and Grant and his team made it a day we will not forget. Fantastic.
