Staff are very friendly and helpful whenever I ask what I can have as a vegan
The place is in a great spot as well in Sutton Coldfield and so nice and atmospheric to sit in and eat
There is still plenty of items on the menu that I'd still like to try, so we will definitely come back here again

I recently had the pleasure of stumbling upon Pitalicious, a charming Arabic cafe nestled in Sutton Coldfield. While searching for a place to dine near Good Hope Hospital, I was drawn to its reddish paint, old-school paintings, and pictures adorning the walls, and the nostalgic touch of the old-school lamps. Little did I know that stepping inside would transport me to the vibrant streets of Cairo.
I opted for the mix shawarma in a wrap, known as laffa, which was reasonably priced. As I took my first bite, I was instantly transported to the bustling streets of Cairo. The taste, texture, and flavour were an authentic representation of the shawarma I had enjoyed during my travels. It was an absolute delight to find that the owner coincidentally hailed from Egypt, which further enhanced the genuine experience.
If you find yourself in or around Sutton Coldfield, I highly recommend paying a visit to Pitalicious. Whether you're a fan of Middle Eastern cuisine or simply in search of an authentic culinary experience, this place won't disappoint. I have walked past this place a few times and always smells amazing. I decided a few weeks ago to try it and it was delicious. The girl at the counter explained what everything was and also gave me a recommendation and i decided to have the mixed meat shawarma loaded box with chips, lettuce, carrot along with a mint sauce and tomato. I asked to have the sauces seperate incase i didnt like the sauces on top. I took this as a takeout and a gentleman came running up the road saying he gave us the wrong sauces and put 2 new ones in my bag that id asked for and apologised.
Honestly the customer service was fantastic and the food was so nice that i have been back since.
Great place to eat. Good food and pretty quiet. Wish the portions were bigger hence 4/5 for "food".

Love coming here - amazing food and service every time. Itās such a good price for what you get. Their veggie bean burger is by far the best Iāve had - I recommend getting it even if youāre not veggie!
Got confused when ordering, so many different combinations to choose from, but the man serving us was very, very patient and pleasant.
The food was delicious when it came, nicely presented and served with a smile. It was a Monday evening, so only us in there. Nice, relaxed atmosphere.
1st time here and we wasn't disappointed, was greeted by friendly staff on arrival, ordered a mixed meat box to share, which promptly arrived, fabulous really was very tasty and fresh, definitely recommend this place for a visit 5* all round, many thanks
Had a falafel with fries and it was delicious really the falafel were so crispy and fresh jalapenos are yummy spicy dips amazing they have nice seating table outside to give street food vibes had a takeout first then ate there only as it was amazing atmosphere
Yesterday I was with a couple of friends in Sutton and we needed to eat in somewhere. It was our first time in Pitalicious and I was blown away by how amazing the service, the atmosphere and the food was! I can confidently say they have the best shawarma in all of Birmingham

Been here a couple of times now, we've had the box meal with felafel, mixed shawarma and kofte between the family, excellent food, the felafel were light and not at all greasy, the salads are delicious, the parsley Salad was a revelation as was the fermented/pickled turnip (but be warned it's salty - I personally love it, my wife doesn't) there are a good choice of soft drinks, mocktails if one wishes and a range of teas, again I rather like the green mint tea, the sweets are mostly based around the baklava idea though I enjoyed the knafeh (if I've spelt that incorrectly - apologies) and the cheesecakes and other desserts look tempting but to be honest the portions are so generous youll probably have to take dessert away as we did! Service is both charming and really helpful, I use a wheelchair for anything but short distances and staff came out to hold the door and help me in without being requested. The toilet was clean and reasonably easy to access on the occasions we visited but I'm not sure about loo access whilst in a wheelchair.
CASH ONLY We had a Mix Mezza vegan with a pitta on the side plus drinks for just under Ā£11 each. Fresh and very tasty.
We drove from Coventry to Pitalicious after seeing all the reviews and it was worth it. Loved the food and especially Sherif who runs the place, who was extremely friendly ! Highly recommended and will definitely visit soon !

Probably the best thing that's happened to Sutton Coldfield!. Great Lebanese food. Easily the best vegan burger I have ever had and it's without soya and other meat imitations. If any of my earlier reviews also says "best burger", then that was before I discovered Pitalicious. The falafels are the real deal too! Would also definitely recommend that you try the vegan mezze box!
