Called in as a last minute decision after walking in the park. Really pleased we did. Such lovely, friendly staff. We had the lunchtime offer of mains and dessert. Great food at a very reasonable price. Please pass our thanks and appreciation on to the staff.

A lot on offer including mac ’n’ cheese which was pleasant, unexpected addition to our plates.
Service was good and very welcoming, considering we had to amend the booking to a slightly later time - they accommodated our needs in an agreeable and timely manner.

My 9 year old daughter dropped her plate while getting our dinner, and cut her leg. The staff were brilliant and came straight to help her with a first aid kit and the chef gave us another plate with meat for here dinner. Your staff are brilliant.

We visited on a Saturday evening. Seated promptly and restaurant wasn't too busy. Food was lovely but as always the service is great. All staff very friendly and make sure you have everything you need. We always travel a little further for this carvery.
We didn't get there till after 8 so our food went a bit cold, however still yummy. The potatoes could have been more crunchy on the outside.
Walking a dog in the park so we decided to eat outside, unfortunately they benches were dirty and nobody offered to come out and clean them so we did it ourselves. The meal itself was excellent.
