We went in on the spur of the moment as we were passing on a Sunday evening around 7.00pm not really expecting a few empty tables as I know this place is always busy.
Food was excellent, staff very attentive & lovely atmosphere.

We were in Boldmere around teatime and we thought we would try this establishment for a change. Staff were very welcoming indeed, they showed us to our table which we hadn't booked and within minutes Pompadons and all the relishes turned up. This was great as we were both hungry. Always had a warm welcome the food is of great quality fresh and tasty . Staff are friendly and provide a great service , they made a fuss of our small grandchildren we had a great family meal thanks to all staff .
Been here a few times in the last couple of months, most recent visit was earlier this evening at the time I am writing this. Staff here are very welcoming, attentive & polite. The food was lovely. Atmosphere was very relaxing & not too noisy or busy so you can hear yourself & the group you are with

Absolutely outstanding takeaway...gorgeous chicken madras and lamb jalfrazi.....beautiful meat and decent portions. I've eaten here numerous times and this place takes beating!

Went this evening and got to say it's the best north indian garlic chilli chicken I have tasted place was very busy and price was good will be back.
I have been dining at shaban for at least 15 years and it is always great quality and service it is far better than any of the others in boldmere , I normally have chicken and king prawn balti with extra king prawn.
All dishes are fabulous I love the madras sauce with the poppadums , mixed shashlik
Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants on the boldmere high street, v tasty and pretty affordable
