5 stars all round, from the moment we entered we felt welcomed The staff were all very pleasant and welcoming, service was great too, from making our orders to being served and the quality was as expected first class The food was lovely too, I will definitely be visiting again soon
We love this place. Mom loved going for lunch to escape the care home for a while. When the time came, we had Moms wake here. I can't stress enough how Mark and the staff went above and beyond to make the day special for us. The buffet was amazing. Thank you guys 😘
We ordered food and didn't wait long Food arrived really hot and well presented Everything looked and tasted fresh Staff were friendly and polite The pub was nice and everywhere was kept clean with tables cleared immediately as people left Prices were average Look out for special offers and vouc
Manager is lovely, friendly and helpful. Food is decent. Nice selection of drinks, usually space to sit although never empty. Generally friendly atmosphere.
My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed visiting last Saturday and we stayed for several hours, having walked up through Sutton. It was a bit of nostalgia for my partner but seeing the structural and menu change. We had to try the food. It had the best vegan options I've seen in any pub I've visited so
Very welcoming, staff are lovely! Nice large table for the eight of us to sit at so we were not squashed at all. Food was good and a very reasonable price. Only comment I could make really was that the broccoli was tricky to eat as it was quite hard and chewy. Otherwise fabulous and we really en
Food was good except two overcooked steaks on mixed grills. But still fine to eat. Sat at table with no reserved sign on it but was asked to move just prior to food arriving as table was actually reserved, but other than that, enjoyed a good meal. Will go again.
Amazing place and food&drinks. Quality service. Everyone has to visit and taste foods.
Myself and 2 friends had daytime menu of main of fish and chips! The fish was mainly batter and the mushy peas were non existent! To say there was only a teaspoon of them was being generous! Very disappointing!
I've been here a number of times and always enjoyed it, nice pub. It can get quite busy, which adds to the nice atmosphere, as it seems to be a regular haunt for local crowd. The menu is good, with a decent choice of options including specials and deals. Love the open fire in here, especially durin
Food was OK, typical pub food, but hot, freshly cooked and dodnt have to wait long. Good beer selection, staff helpful and friendly.
Food was amazing and staff so pleasant. Was served by Jason who really took care of us, one of our group was very fussy about her order but he dealt with us like it was no trouble at all. We will definitely be coming back
Absolutely fantastic pup, I took my mom for her birthday 91yrs old, the staff were very friendly and my mom eat all her fish and chips and I had pasta chicken and mushrooms we had a fantastic meal and time ,thank you to the staff for making me and my mom, so welcome, and she had a drink from the man
We are regulars. Jockey is currently the best it has ever been. Choice of food and drinks is great. Staff are brill and service is very swift every time.
Whilst the food was enjoyable the service needs improving. We have used the Horse & Jockey for a number of years and recently noticed the service deteriorate. There is an obvious lack of staff with just one team number behind the bar who is expected to serve drinks and take food orders. This results
