Back in my 'day' (the late 80's, 90's and early 2k), Blackwood Rd had the usual town/village shops. Walks to school including a stop at Taylors News for sweets, chippy tea, hair cut, pharmaceutical support... Roll on 30 years later, and something that could have come a lot lot sooner (when I was walking the streets, on my way home after a night out at the local public houses when turning '18' in the late 90's) there is a restaurant. An indian restaurant. Visiting parents, as now live in Lincolnshire, and they took me here... Service; fantastic, very personal, great conversation. Location; 'hidden' away, and parking could be an issue if early doors. Drinks; unlicensed, so BYOB. Wine for me. Food; when 'testing' an Indian restaurant I will always go with the chefs/restaurants 'own' Jalfrazi. If its good, I know the rest of the menu will be good. Lots of experience here 😉. No complaints from parents, nor myself. Price; absolutely spot on for portion size. Lamb Tikka Sylheti Jalfrazi. Not over powered with chilli, just a nice warmth on the back of the tongue, perfection. As well as the starters, all was beautiful. Highly recommended, and parents say take out/delivery is spot on too. Those that know me, you know I like my curry. If i say its good, its very good.

Have been here several times. This time the service was very slow . Only two of us and waited nearly an hour between first course and second. It seamed the delivery side of the business had taken priority over the restaurant.

It was our first order from this place tonight and it was absolutely delicious. The meat and chicken was so soft and the flavours from each dish was just beautiful. We'd missed the rice off our order and they soon sent us a replacement so our delivery didn't go cold. Highly recommended - we will be telling all our friends and family to use Spice Inn from now on. Thank you!

A favourite of mine and my partners. My partner wouldn't even consider Indian food a couple of years ago (Russian, bought up on meat and potato). Spice Inn has become a fave of both of ours. Rarely any issues or waiting, a pleasant service and always happy to correct any issues that do arise (though rare, it happens. We're all human). The chicken bhuna is delicious and the shami kebabs are a favorite with every order. Thank you guys for a great service and great food!

Great food and friendly staff. We regularly get take away from here and always enjoy it but it’s also a great restaurant to go for a sit down meal as well. They don’t have a license to serve alcohol so don’t forget to bring your own booze!

This is my go-to take away curry. I usually go for the lamb balti, and it's always good. They're not stingy in the meat either unlike some other places. Delivery is usually pretty swift and problem free.

Had a meal here on Sunday 28th May. My first time here and I was pleasantly surprised how amazing the food was. After hearing varied reports I thought I would try it out for myself. I had lamb chops to start and they are the best lamb chops I've had in a very long time. I then had the chicken tikka naga and that was so tasty and hot which I expected it to be hot. I even treated myself to the mint madness pudding which finished off my meal brilliantly. My other half had mix kebab to start and he had north Indian garlic chilli chicken as his main which was lovely as I had to try. Overall my first experience was excellent and we look forward to going back and next time I'm having the lamb chops as a main I enjoyed them so much. Thanks to all the lovely staff who looked after us xx

We've eaten here quite a few times now & have never been disappointed with the food, both quality & quantity excellent. Very reasonable cost & the only Indian that doesn't upset my husband's stomach which is a real bonus!!
