Absolutely amazing authentic Spanish food. Generous portion sizes. Highly recommended the Octopus starter and Seafood Paella. Marietta our server was so lovely. Can't wait to go back and have a taste of Spain.
Fantastic service and delicious food. Ordered 4 tapas dishes and a side if garlic potatoes. They served us bread and some veg before tapas. It took 10-15mins to get our tapas dishes. We were impressed with the speed, quality and service. The waitress was smiley all the way through and very pleasant.
Would definitely recommend!

Truly excellent! the service was first class the waiters were very friendly and had a great knowledge of the food when we asked them. My friends and I were taken back by the food, it was amazing, we've travelled to the Mediterranean many times before and food was just as similar. However there was delay in the food coming out also the decor needs slight updating and attention to especially the lighting. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in Sutton Coldfield or Birmingham! A+

The service was outstanding the waitress who served us was a real credit to the restaurant very professional, intelligent and just the right amount of service. Not over the top but excellent.

Went to Sangria on a Saturday night and they were incredibly busy when we arrived, however we received a warm welcome from all of the busy staff. You could tell that they were rushed but they still took the time to make sure everything was okay and take our orders. The food was absolutely delicious, I had the some tapas plates followed by the meat paella which I would recommend. We were a table of 5 and everyone enjoyed their food, all fresh, all tasty and not a bad price. Costa was not our server but came over to chat, really nice guy always smiling making sure everything was up to scratch.
Don’t let the 1 star review put you off they obviously had some teething problems to start and got a grumpy old customer to deal with.

Six of us went here on the off-chance as wanted to celebrate an unexpected special event. So pleased we did. Not much choice in mains for veggies, but it was very good. The rest of us had a section of tapas, accompanied by the two plates of delicious salad. Everyone really enjoyed them all. The young lady was charming friendly and efficient. Definitely going again.
Good quality tapas, friendly staff. We had the fixed menu which was excellent value & generous portion sizes. Table service chaotic, which may put some people off. The good quality food will get us back! Good for couples, families & groups.
Me and two friends came here last night, whilst we did have to wait quite a while for our food we were shocked at the rudeness of the tables around us! Two of us work in hospitality and we know that even the highest trained and oldest staff would have trouble dealing with the difficulties that these young servers faced last night! With only one chef they still managed to produce AMAZING food and with only two servers for the upstairs AND the downstairs they smashed it with their polite attitudes and welcoming smiles not to mention the top notch Sangria! We were asked if we wanted free drinks but we declined as we were happy with our evening yet they still gave us our desserts on the house! We'll be returning as I've got my eye on that paella!

Visited on a Tuesday early evening with my wife. We were the only ones in! Service wad excellent with oyr waitress being very well inforned about the dishes on offer anscwas both efficent and freindly. I felt at ease asking questions about the menu with out fear of being made to feel stupid. Food was lovely we had 6 tapas between us and a main course. We were stuffed and took some home in a doggy bag. We used the merecat deal and paid £51 quid for 3 wines 4 cokes 1 bottle of beer and the above food. Akk in all we had a nice night and will go again . Well done all at Sangria !
Friendly staff although not very well trained. Sangria balances between a casual restaurant and a commercial kitchen for deliveroo, Groupon, just eat, etc. for the masses. The bar as you get in the restaurant should be like a take away full of books and stuff on the desk, but clean and attractive; it is the first thing that someone sees as they walk in! Once they finalise their identity they can be a lot better, because food was lightly cooked, well flavoured, with nice taste and good portions. I was between 3 and 4 stars, but I gave 4 in the end because I believe that their improvement will finally come.
Lovely staff and lovely food! Customers around were clearly searching for issues and jumping on the band wagon - I was there 15/02 and was appalled at sutton’s disrespectful and impatient customers. Servers did everything they could to accommodate even though under-staffed and insisted on free dessert which we didn’t feel necessary. The table next to us also quoted they served “the best sangria outside of Spain”: Had a great night, thank you.
Food from the set lunch menu was tasty enough and service was fine albeit we were the only table on Sunday early afternoon. Would be interesting to taste their tapas from the main menu. Hopefully it will be equally as tasty
Came to Sangria for my birthday, table of 10, food was fantastic, Tapas at it's best!! The staff are so friendly and nothing was a problem - look forward to coming again!! Thanks to everyone at Sangria!! 👍👍
