Just love this place…lovely walk from our house and on the edge of Blackroot Pool. The location is stunningly beautiful. Staff super friendly. We had sausage sandwich and full English breakfast…quick service given how busy they were. The coffee is really good… a local supplier I see from the menu. Talking local, they sell honey from Sutton Park. Only one toilet but it was spotlessly clean. A gem in one of the best parks in the UK… will definitely be back.

Nice location within Sutton Park. You're allowed to take dogs into the bistro whilst ordering food. Great food & drink at reasonable prices. It can get busy with walkers, bike riders & dog owners. Recently won the outdoor seating area award 2023. Very popular.

Gorgeous little spot in the heart of Sutton park, genuinely perfect for a little catch up or stop after a nice walk. The menu is broad, very fairly priced and also delicious. I was actually surprised by the quality of the food, it was lovely! It does get very busy, especially on the weekend, so be graciously warned! They have a nice selection of specials, for breakfast and lunch, and this will become a definite stop every time we are in the park, and possible even get us out of bed! Staff were lovely, and there’s seating inside and out, so you can enjoy the surroundings :)

Me and my family visited this restaurant last week, and we will definitely be coming back! The food was outstanding, we were especially impressed by the breakfast food. The staff were lovely, the service from the young man called Harry who was working the till especially stood out to us, he was very nice and chatty.

Love this place so much! Food choice is great and always tastes good - I'm especially a fan of the veggie sausage + fried egg sarnie for brunch. Gorgeous spot to sit outside, friendly staff, service efficient. Lots of dogs there too so a great place to stop off if you're walking a pooch. Recommended.

Great little Bistro on the edge of sutton parks blackroot pool. Nice cappuccino and breakfast burger. Also a tea and cheese on chips. All was well cooked and well presented all was in disposable eco friendly cups and boxes. Toilets available and good covid monitoring. Plenty of seating outside winter menu and drinks available

Really enjoyed visiting the Blackroot bistro. My family and I stopped off whilst out cycling in Sutton Park and I was very impressed with how clean the bistro was and how they manage the social distancing measures whilst still delivering a good service. They had hand sanitizers set up in several places and a one way system indoors so you order your items and wait outside for your number to be called. Well done and thank you.

Had a lovely lunch here on Sunday, food was top notch and the seating area very pleasant. Lots of very good dogs to admire too! I'm docking a star for atmosphere because the order number system really needs to improve. Every couple of minutes the waiting staff bellowed the order number of the next lot of food or drinks to come out, sometimes multiple times before they found the right table. This really spoiled the mood... can I suggest you add table numbers, or give everyone a wooden spoon with the number on or something? Seems to work fine elsewhere. Another star off for the service as when I ordered I wasn't told I could help myself to my can from the fridge, so I was waiting ages for a drink, even though the food and my husband's coffee had arrived. Eventually after I asked a couple of times someone explained, and brought it over for us. Apart from these relatively minor irritations I would come again!

Mixed bag this one, my salad was great value and well made. On the other hand the wife's bacon and brie panini... sorry I should say 'bac and brie' as the panini was short on bacon, very short, less than one rasher of streaky bacon on a foot long panini. Both cost around £10 each, So yeah, one good one bad. Service was good, you go to till order & pay 10mins later staff shout your order and bring to table. Polite & Pleasant attitude. With a nice sunny day sitting outside on the patio under the parasol made for a loverly lunch.

Nice little place with breakfast and sandwiches, but at 11.45am they finish with food, just wrap and sandwiches- it is sad.Just one toilet for all, women, men and disabled…🥺 Very nice location in the big Sutton park, little terrace outside and big parking 2 passes from Bistro.Stuff are a little confused, but friendly and positive.

Quick service, easy to order and sit and wait. Parking is very bumpy but doesn’t have anything to do with the Bistro, easy to take away and walk around the park.

Our favourite Cafe, with the most wonderful team. Daryl is a great guy, always supporting other local businesses like ourselves. Food, drinks and ambience is always brilliant. Can't understand the negative reviews - The Bistro is the place to be. From all the team at Rhodehouse, we will be back!! :)
