Nicest curry meal I have had in a long time . Staff were so accommodating. Not from the area and a guest at the travelodge but would highly recommend. Be aware it is bring your own but there is a Tesco next door but one .

Decided to go here last minute and definitely didn’t regret it. It’s only a small restaurant so I would definitely recommend booking. The food was great, I had the Lamb Chef Curry which is the photo I posted. It’s not on the menu but what they take home for themselves. All the others were great too which we tried.

The place to eat Indian/Bangladeshi cuisine in the area for sure. Beautiful food, bursting flavours and Shab is always accommodating. The best food is often found in smaller family owned businesses. Will definitely visit again when I’m in the area.

We were having a night out with friends for their birthday. My husband does not eat Indian food so his intention was fish and chips. When we spoke to staff they were extremely helpful and took time to see what type of spice my husband liked and how strong. They suggested a dish as a starter and then see what he thought before ordering a main. My husband loved the starter and for the first time ordered an Indian meal. I cannot thank the staff how helpful and patient they were that evening and now we can both go out to an Indian and he knows what to order. Food was lovely and fresh and staff were great. Thank you and see you soon. Anyone not sure what to order please speak to the staff

Although a tiny restaurant, I left with big impressions. The food was great with the meat cooked perfectly and spiced nicely. I’ve overlooked this place in the past but will definitely be returning if they keep to the same standard I experienced last night.

Had a family meal here a couple of weeks ago and it was top notch The quality of the food was exceptional, we went midweek so was quiet but the tables around us enjoyed it too, no idea what it’s like at the weekend but suspect much busier The tandoori prawn was epic, the biryanis was so tasty and loads of it, great garlic Nan, nice service and good food Recommended!

Had a fantastic night at Streetly Balti last night. The staff were friendly and informative and they offered a fantastic menu - much better than your usual Indian restaurant. They helped by suggesting and explaining the dishes and I can honestly say I had the best chicken tikka masala I have ever had. I stuck to the norm but the others all had new and different dishes which tasted fantastic. The little shot bombs were sensational!

Me and the Wife have been and sat in this evening as opposed to a take away from the guys and really glad we did. Family run business with the 2 young Sons on the front accommodating you to seats and taking time to talk to you about the food your ordering. The food itself was absolutely beautiful, presentation and taste superb and unlike some places not a spot of floating oil and when we asked about it they said no ghee used just minimal oil and meat fats but the taste was beautiful. Lovely food and lovely family !! Thanks and see you again soon. Mark & Bec

Brilliant food and even better service! I ordered: Starters: 🔹Lollypop chicken ~ the lollipop chicken was crispy, cooked well and was marinated in a sweet and sticky sauce. Truly delicious. 🔹Achari lamb chops ~ these were soft, tender and juicy. Ngl, I was very impressed with how the lamb chops were packed with flavour and grilled to perfection. 🔹 Corn on the cob ~ this was drizzled in a special sauce that definitely upped the corn on the cob game. It had a sweet aftertaste. This isn't currently on the menu, but will hopefully be on there soon iA! 🔹Dynamite king prawns ~ the dynamite prawns were also nice. The prawns were garnished with onions, peppers and pomegranates which were a nice touch. Mains: 🔹Railway Gosht ~ The gosht was a straight up 10/10 dish. If you go to this restaurant this curry is a must-have. Again, the lamb was cooked to perfection. It was soft and meltingly tender. The meat fell apart easily. Such an authentic dish. 🔹Red Murgh curry ~ the chicken was cooked nicely and the curry had a good level of spice. The variety of ingredients were all freshly prepared. 🔹Chicken Tarka ~ If you don't like spice then this is the curry for you. Although it isn't spicy, it is still full of flavour. The chicken is sweet and this went nicely with the pilau rice. 🔹Masala fries, garlic naan & Pilau rice ~ the masala fries were saucy and fluffy. The garlic naan was also light, fluffy and tasty. The pilau rice went nicely paired with the chicken tarka or the railway gosht.

Great place to get authentic Indian food. The restaurant was busy, but the staff were polite, friendly and hard working. Varied menu, so plenty of dishes to choose from. The food was amazing and portions were a good size. Would definitely recommend!
