Great place for coffee (tea) and cakes and we’re always happy to support small local businesses rather than sharks.
Coffee and cakes are far superior than other coffee shops and this comes at a great price too.
The place is always busy so that’s always a good sign.

Lovely place. Very good coffee, super friendly staff, chilled atmosphere and decor, benches outside. You do feel like a guest at someone's home - it has that quality. And if you want a proper coffee, this is the place to come. A must if you're in the area.
Excellent coffee, lovely friendly atmosphere and delicious cakes. The children's hot chocolates even had teddy bear faces in the foam, what more could you want?
Lovely local independent. My oat milk was steamed to perfection (the texture was so perfect I thought they served me cows milk!!) lovely coffee and cakes with quirky flavours (ginger and rhubarb) and great value at £2.5 each. A must if you’re in Sutton town centre.
If you really appreciate a 'damn fine cup of coffee' then you need to walk past all the high street chain coffee bars in the main area, and head a few hundred yards up the road to here. Has to be one of the best independents in Brum, serving consistently excellent coffee, in whatever form you wish.
Awesome - such a great place to sit and have a coffee. Dropped daughter at theory test centre and needed somewhere to go whilst waiting. Definitely picked the right place. Great service, friendly and so relaxed. Hot chocolate was awesome - so was tea and cakes
Best café in Sutton. Love to grab a cup and some baked cakes there in the morning. And there's always some friendly conversation to have with the lovely people owning the place. And they do roast their coffee beans so you can buy them as well at the shop.
I only now discovered this place after two years of coming from time to time in Sutton. I had already adjusted my expectations regarding coffee and when I discovered this place and tasted the freshly roasted specialty coffee it was like hearing a choir of angels sing. Loved it.
Had a nice chat with two of the staff about finance apps (Chip) whilst waiting for my flat white. Great coffee and atmosphere. You’ve got a new regular.
