I'd say give it a go. It's not the swanky in place it was years ago, when I last went, but a nice pub food feel and an outside pizza oven. Not much choice of beer tho. Service good. Pub garden and nice inside.

The swan reopened last Friday and it was amazing. Went back for Sunday roast and was best roast in the area by Miles. The new landlord is lovely and friendly and all staff very welcoming. Can't recommend enough.

I've now been a few times to the Swan. Always a wonderful experience. The owners and staff are so lovely and friendly. Always welcoming and very relaxed. Kid friendly, great drinks and amazing food. Not cheap, of course, but an occasion nonetheless.

The only reason I gave this 5 stars.....I can't give 10. You'll be greeted by warm, friendly and professional staff, and you will receive one of the best roast dinners You'll ever have...second only to mum's. You'll be made to feel so welcome that you won't rush ro leave. You'll be given time to enjoy your meal, and time to let each course settle ...don't mistake this for having to wait, though you may have to because the staff are so personable and attentive ro every patron.. I am glad the chef is not my mum because I would be the size of a house..🙂

I have been visiting the restaurant since it was taken over by the French many years ago. Over the years whenever passing by on the M40 or antiquing around Oxfordshire, I would bring friends to have a lunch here. The food and service are both excellent. Occasionally, maybe some dishes are not to my personal taste, but I cannot fault the cooking. To all the reviewers complaining about the price, I would say this is reasonable price for the level of food provided. You could get lesser food for more money. But it would be next to impossible to find a place with the same quality for less money. Perhaps this is my London-centric bias.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves last night at one of the Swan's special soirees. We were warmly welcomed and given a lovely table in the restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and excellent value. I cannot recommend this wonderful restaurant more highly, five stars are not enough - I give it 10 !

Fantastic food- well worth the detour and coupled with the antiques centres makes for a memorable day out. Service was really attentive and friendly without being over bearing. Definitely somewhere that I'd want to go again especially for a special meal

C'est magnifique! Visited last Sunday. We spent an hour in the antiques centre and then went to the restaurant. Beautiful Anglo-French cuisine. Freshly baked breads and unusual salts to start - perfect. I had the lamb cutlets for main - again, perfect. These folk deserve to do really well.

Just awesome! Fine dining done properly with a smile and some magnificent french chewy sweets on the way out. Antoine, Camille and the team deliver the finest restaurant experience in Oxfordshire, yes Ray White included.

Brilliant food, excellent hosts. Have been here a few times, and always impressed. Update: just had another fantastic lunch - could have chosen pretty much anything on the menu, it all looked amazing.

Superb French restaurant in the Swan Antiques Centre . The Swan has a very pleasant dining atmosphere due to the cordiality of the staff and attractive setting. It is family favorite but fairly pricey so an occasional treat. They do a regional fixed price menu on Thursdays which is very reasonably priced.

A phenomenal find! A fantastic selection of good quality wine paired with authentic French cuisine. My only complaint was with the Steak Tartare starter. It was so lovely (egg included to make yourself) that I wanted it to follow again as a main course! Antoine (I believe the restaurateur) was an absolute gentleman & really made us feel welcome by striving to ensure we were happy. I look forward to returning there and making it a regular spot for us to visit. It will be a place I am confident of utilising for special occasions & anniversaries. As a local, I feel compelled to tell you to try it. I am confident it won't disappoint (unlike some of the other well-established & decorated venues I have visited in the locality).
