I stopped here for just one night and I found the service to be excellent. The room I stayed in was good and all amenities provided - the evening meal and breakfast was served promptly and food cooked to perfection- overall I would recommend anyone to enjoy a visit and experience the trained staff and their excellent service. Every time I visit Tewkesbury this will the first place I intend to stay Well done everyone at The Bell

What a lovely pub. Stayed in Tewkesbury For a couple of days but wanted a proer Sunday dinner so for £5.99 (after 5pm) we went into The Bell. Food was delicious and hot and plenty of it. Will certainly be going here again and definitely recommend for friendly staff and great food.

Excellent food and service. The food came out quick. I had the lamb shank and my husband the pie. Both were delicious. We finished the meal off with the apple and blackberry crumble. The restoration on the pub is excellent. Interesting history.

We live in Tewkesbury so didn't need accommodation but we decided to try the Bell Hotel for a meal to celebrate our anniversary and we were so pleased we did. On arrival we received a warm friendly greeting by Lucy who looked after us extremely well all evening. The table had been decorated very prettily and Lucy was lovely, a real asset to the hotel. The food was really nice and plenty of it. I have also had a few breakfasts there with friends and they are also very good. We will certainly be back. Thank you Lucy, Beth and the Bell for a lovely evening.

Stayed 2 nights, all the staff were very good, Yasmin our breakfast waitress was superb, super helpful, nothing was too much trouble. I was in a party of 6 staying at the Bell, we requested our breakfast to be packed as a sandwich so we could take away, 5 minutes later piping hot wrapped in foil ready to go, thank you so much. Food was good value, enjoyed our dinner, good location, room was functional for our needs.

An old building opposite the Abbey with parking. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was very good and nothing was too much trouble. My only complaint would be that the rooms need to be refurbished . The cleaners and maintenance staff work miracles keeping these tired rooms clean and comfortable for guests.

A fabulous village pub. Always very friendly, love dogs. Food is exceptional, very creative and very well presented. Parking can be a bit tight outside the pub. Definitely will be returning.

this was a halfway 1 night stop being just mid way between home and Devon.. the M42 is an absolute nightmare any time of day.. The Bell is a very old building of Tudor Style and this review is based on that. Parking onsite.. you will be given a ticket to place in your car window to avoid the meter charge.. (nice one) The food was excellent very reasonably priced with the 20% voucher given to those staying at the hotel. The staff are lovely from the moment you enter the hotel. the room... Very clean and totally adequate with all the bits you enjoy like tea making facilities.. tv.. fan . en suite and very comfortable bed our room was in the old building and was accessed via a twisting staircase which i found very challenging with our suitcase... But there are other rooms in an annexe without that problem.. the floor in our room was creaky but what do you expect from a period building.. having said that we never heard noise from outside our room. very comfortable. Location is opposit Tewksbury Abbey.. Very Beautiful... and you are situated on the edge of the town centre also adorned with loads of period buildings. as it was a one night stop we did no more than a short stroll into the town after dinner, but we will be back for a longer visit.. Thank you Green King and the staff at The Bell for a pleasant stay.

Have been on a number of occasions, can recommend the steak baguette and the Sunday roast, food and drink competitively priced. Also dog friendly, as a dog owner a big thumbs-up 👍

Just came away from a 2 night stay with 2 dogs. The service was friendly. Room was very cosy, clean and warm. The bed was so comfy too. No problems with the room at all. The breakfast and dinners were lush and again, great friendly service by all the staff. Location was nice. I would happily come back again

This is a lovely and friendly place to stay. The rooms are clean and a good size. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Lisa who booked us in was informative and chatty. Rachel and Rosie served us in the restaurant, again friendly and chatty. Food was excellent. Yaz who served us breakfast was happy and chatty, self service continental then a large choice of hot food. Excellent stay.

Very comfortable room with a good sized en suite. Enjoyable breakfast served by helpful staff. Didn't like the spiral staircase as I have mobility issues and use a walking stick.

Food was fine, service was slow no disrespect to the staff but a second person behind the bar would make all the difference at busy times
