Been thrice so far. Twice to eat which was absolutely delicious. So many tasty sounding meals on the special board, plus the homemade pies, it was difficult to choose. The third time was on the day of the Twyning fete and they had live music on

Just had a fantastic lunch, the best Garlic Bread we've had and amazing Burgers. Staff were exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be coming here again. Review by 2 strange ladies and a teenager.

As strangers to the area it is always a bit daunting going into a different pub, however we were greeted with a lovely smile and attentive service from liz (barmaid) she went above and beyond and I would definitely recommend this friendly pub to any weary travellers. The food was absolutely gorgeous
Easy to park up in our van for a quick stay to have a beer and enjoy the quiet pub. Bartender was lovely and the relaxed feel of the whole place felt really nice, wish we had time to stay longer but we had to move on.

Dropped in to the Village Inn for a Sunday lunch, was greeted warmly by the barman Gary. Whilst they had no space in the restaurant we were offered a table in the bar to enjoy a pint and meal. The food was wonderful, just like home cooked with lots of fresh veg and more chicken than was possible to
