We were a party of 26 who only booked a few days before and we're very appreciative that they could accommodate us. We had the function room which was ideal. We pre ordered our food which was fine. The food was served quickly and efficiently. Many of us had the roast dinners, others the fish. Good
We had dinner here before going on to somewhere else. Food was OK, nothing special, but the staff were lovely. Lacked atmosphere, not sure if it was because it was early evening, so therefore fairly quiet, but for me the place was bland. I think a nice dark colour on the walls would make such a diff
The atmosphere was very welcoming and staff were very helpful and kind. Food was good but a bit expensive (a bit on the London price). I will def be back, as we loved it!
Sunday Roast Beef with pan gravy with red wine. 3 vegetables. Pudding was peanut-butter cheesecake and a mixed Berry Waffle with vanilla ice cream . Very friendly staff, quick service and dog friendly dinning in a separate area to the restaurant. Ambiance a little noisy but it is a family pub.
Was little put off from the outside as we thought it was closed, however once we opened the door what a wonderful surprise. Very welcoming and lovely old fashioned interior. The food was great too and we will definitely be back.
Service was only a 3 as the barman made up a pint of lager and lime using half a pint of lime cordial. I could taste lime all day. Apart from that mishap its a really nice place to go.
Met up with three of my cousins and their spouses for a family lunch ....food and service was very good, and we weren't rushed to vacate our table ...will certainly call again
Wedding reception (11/09/2021) - such an amazing day and the team GM played a massive role in that. Each team member was great. Welcoming and attentive. Couldn't do enough for us. The food was great. Bar was spot on (good beer). Th venue is lovely too!
Beautiful pub, I was looking for a cosy country pub a good roast dinner, I was not disappointed! Delicious roast and plenty of it, staff were lovely and the open fire is always a plus. Only niggle was that the bread sharing platter was a bit pricey for what it was but still good.
Didn't eat here but food looked lovely and everyone seemed to enjoy. Staff were really nice and friendly xx
Easy to find. Quite busy. Nice meal. Sunday lunch. Would revisit if in the area.
We booked Gupshill Manor for a birthday meal and then looked at the reviews. Reading some of the negative ones we were a little hestitant but decided to try anyway. Our experience was very positive. The staff couldn't be more welcoming, the restaurant was cosy and warm, and we enjoyed a drink on the
Staff were incredible, we attended a wedding reception with around 80 guests. Excellent disabled accommodation. The venue was clean and modern with a countryside feeling. The food was excellent that was supplied for the day. It was a warm day and the staff worked exceptionally hard in and out of the
