Lovely historic pub with great atmosphere, very nice selection of excellent real ales in tip top condition; on the night I went in, they were serving 'mulled wine' which was also very nice too.

Lovely traditional pub. Landlord was very kind and friendly. Went out of his way to help us get fed! He gave our dog treats and made us feel very welcome. Great mulled wine!
