The Royal Hop Pole - Tewkesbury - Photo album

I stayed here, as a lone female, and booked a single room. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the room was of a good size, as was the bed. The bedding was crisp and clean, and the towels were large, white and fluffy - much better than many posher hotels than I've stayed in. The hospitality tray
Great looking Wetherspoons, a fairly large Tudor (?) Building which is also a hotel & has a long garden for those warm summer days which stretches right down to the river Avon . The food is the usual ' Spoons ' standard & there is usually a decent choice of ales on tap. Plenty of seats inside althou
It is very much the same as any other spoons. However I do appreciate the ordering at the table app now. The food is okay as expected. The service is again as expected, not bad although we had breakfast there the other week and a sausage fell off my partners plate and landed on the velvet chair and
I love wetherspoons and it was great here. The gardens at the back are lovely and the pathyou see takes you down to the riverside to have a seat/ relax and watch the boats and ducks go by. Didn't book our rooms here (was just up the road)..... wish we had of done. Pretty good rates.
Did not eat here. The smell of the spices and herbs was mouth watering. Enough to whet one’s appetite. Very busy, plenty of atmosphere. Buzzing to say the least. Plenty of staff on. Good prices today, 7:5 % off VAT. Excellent stuff. Good selection of real ales. Waiting time to be served was negligib
Quite surprised with this Wetherspoons pub/hotel. Food was ok - pub style stuff Never seen a place with so many flowers and old, lots of character. As I said, I was surprised
Can't beat a Wetherspoons for value. The Royal Hop Pole has a great outdoor seating area. Plenty of space.
One of the better Spoons pubs we have been to. The staff were great and the building was very interesting. Great range of ales and a larger Spoons menu than we have seen lately. We enjoyed a good pub grub meal with myself inhaling a double cheese burger and my wife appreciateing a rare juicy stea
One of my favourite Wetherspoons, exceptionally clean and well laid out. Outside seating and Budweiser on draught are bonuses, along with toilets on the ground floor too! Fantastic service, food and drink made for a great visit. Extremely clean and well maintained w/c. Highly recommended in all area
Lovely stay in historic hotel. Really nice riverside garden to have a drink in. Food onsite and nice staff too. Take a look at the old hall on the first floor if you stay.
