Great pub, proper pub which seemed to be the only one of its kind in the town. People were happy and friendly which made a good atmosphere. Recommend this place if in the area

What a lovely pub. Mick and Jane the landlord/landlady couldn't have made us feel more welcome. Absolutely great pub. Well worth a visit. So glad it's local enough for us to drink in on a regular basis!!!

I cannot recommend this place enough. The staff went out of their way to look after us and the place has a great atmosphere. Great range of drinks, lovely garden and dog friendly. Would love this to be my local!

Very friendly and nice people who work there. Looked after us with good chat and drinks. Pulls no punches, but in world where we are becoming swallowed up by the trendy gastropub, this is a welcome change.

Nice little pub between Tenterden and St.Michaels. Friendly staff, good quality beer (Shepherd Neame). Also had a decent sized garden behind it, great in the summer.

What can you say, this small pub on the corner of St Michael's, Tenterden. Friendly, food is excellent. Staff always smiling and go out of their way to help you, great service, Very clean and well kepted. Well done to the landlord and landlady and your team.

Great. Management and bar staff very friendly pub

This is a wonderful little pub. The landlady is fantastic and offers lots of activities to enjoy all year round. There is a fine selection of ales, lagers and coders. The bar staff are super friendly and welcoming as are the locals. I hear they do a good open mic night as well. Highly recommended!

Visited late September on a Wednesday lunch time post Covid restrictions. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good array of beers and a varied array of hot and cold food options. All-in-all to be recommended.
