A lovely evening of food and music. Attentive, friendly, helpful service, good food. The soul tribute music was great. A popular place, especially on event nights, booking recommended.

One of the best places for authentic food.. The prices have increased though which makes eating out more expensive sadly.... recommended though for a special occasion..
Booked a table while staying at a local hotel and so glad we did. Lovely relaxed restaurant with very friendly staff. As for the food, excellent lots of flavour without being over powering. Definitely recommend if your in the area.

Delicious! The food was excellent and tasty and the service was very attentive. Every bit of our meals was perfect but the nan really stood out, so soft and fluffy, best I've ever tried. We shared the Raj platter for a starter then my partner had the Tandoori platter and I had a Bangladesh specialty lamb dish, all cooked to perfection. Although it's a bit of a drive for us we would come again or stay over in the King Hotel attached as we did this time.
Lovely Staff! The restaurant wasn’t crowded so there were plenty of staff available; they all checked on us but not one became too persistent, it was the perfect service ratio which is a rare thing to find! Food was scrummy. Succulent Chicken and Scallops, the Jalfrezi was a Devine firework of flavours instead of just heat. Thank you!
Atmosphere is aways good, food was incredible so good, service 4 star as I felt we were rushed alittle, beer,ie Cobra love it, thank you guys, we will return soon.
We stayed in the hotel which was clean and comfortable. We visited the restaurant and had a lovely meal. The food was extremely tasty and authentic. My husband is Indian and he was impressed. Had a cooked breakfast in the morning which arrived quickly and was very nice. We will definitely use the restaurant in the future.
The motown evening was great. Great food great service and amazing singer. Highly recommend the Raj.

Delicious meal. Picture is of one of the authentic Bangladeshi dishes from the menu. Staff were very attentive and food was served to the table very quickly after ordering. Would definitely return if ever I am visiting the area again.
A great restaurant. We popped in for dinner and had a great experience. The staff were friendly and the service was good. Food came out nice and hot, and tasted great. Free parking in their car park outside which has plenty of spaces. They put in special evenings too, worth checking them out.
Fabulous selection of Bangladeshi, Pakistani and Indian dishes including venison, Tiger Fish, the list is endless. I ate dinner and breakfast here two days running and everything was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious . It’s busy due to its popularity so I would advise booking ahead. There is plenty of parking and a hotel attached. Overall, extremely impressive.
Travelled an hour to get to the Raja and will do it again. Flavour Flavour and quality, great choice, old favourites and house specials, offering local game like venison and pheasant dishes.
