What a delightful place! It seems steeped with history. Very olde, rustic place. Clean, almost cosy, too. The kinda place where you feel instantly relaxed. Friendly staff. We stopped for brunch. All of which was delicious, well cooked & presented. The prices were very keen too.
I'm glad we went in.
Traditional British food with great home made cakes.
Loved the historic house!
Worth coming to experience the old-fashioned British dining.
Would definitely visit again.
Quaint and quirky cafe in a beautiful historic building on the High Street. Really friendly and helpful staff, with a wide ranging menu. My poached eggs were a touch overdone and the toast a bit thin, so have knocked a star off. Lots of regulars suggests its a winner.
We had lunch here which was lovely. Pate was excellent. My friend had avacado with prawns. Prompt service and nice atmosphere. Reasonably priced too.
The Lemon tree brunch is great value and the bacon and sausage are delicious have now been twice and can thoroughly recommend. All the meals I saw on other tables looked great too.
Sadly I can't take this restaurant back to Australia with me ðŸ˜. The only criticism I can add is please give your staff
Very very tasty breakfast. One of the best lattes ever had, really hot. Lovely staff. Beautiful old building.
We had lunch here and were pleasantly surprised with the historic atmosphere, fast and friendly service, and tasty (large) portion sizes.
We love the food and the ambience at The Lemon Tree. Our son who has learning difficulties and Autism, enjoys eating here.

Bit more expensive than your average "greasy spoon" type Cafe but the ingredients used were top quality! Highly recommended!
