Have already had fish and chips from here which were amazing. Decided to give the Sunday lunch a go today and we were not disappointed- it was absolutely stunning!! You collect and warm it up at home. Took 25 mins in our caravan oven. We had beef, it was so tender and plenty of everything. Would highly recommend. Great value for money.
The "Vegan fish and chips" sign was spotted from the road on our way past to a local campsite. We were so glad we came straight back for dinner. It was by far the best vegan version of fish and chips I've had.
So good here we ended up coming back the next night! We stayed in saundersfoot and struggled to find anywhere with vegan options for fish and chips let alone an entire menu! Well worth travelling for. The pies are amazing, I would highly recommend the Kenyan one. The lady that served us was so friendly & polite. They labeled everything that was vegan to make it easy for us! Perfect:)
I don't think I've ever been happier! Absolutely fabulous gluten-free fish and chips. Visiting Pembrokeshire from Cardiff and a local suggested here. As someone with a food intolerance, I am so used to having really limited options when ordering food. So naturally here I ordered half the menu out of excitement. I have just polished off the lot, and i can't move. I can't ever remember being this full. Delicious. Even the vingegar was gluten free, what a treat!! Would give 6 stars if I could. Maybe more. Just all the stars really. 🌟
Visited after driving past and seeing a sign advertising vegan banana blossom "fish". I was pleasantly surprised to see this as I've only ever seen vegan options in chip shops in cities. We then discovered they have a wide range of vegan pies; offering a wider range of vegan options than any other chip shop we've ever visited. The "fish" and chips tasted great and we're the perfect portion size. The addition of the lemon and vegan tartar sauce were such a nice touch. The price was also very reasonable and the staff are clearly passionate about the business. It's also worth mentioning that there is a lovely looking pub opposite so you could factor that into your visit 😉
I have been coming here for a while. I always order their gluten-free selection. It is absolutely delicious. Their chips are the best around. If you order fish (even cod bites), you get their fresh made tartare sauce with it (oh yum). The pies....again gluten free....moo pie is so tasty. Honestly, I have been here quite a bit and haven't had a duff one yet. Also, you can go online (via facebook) and order and pay for your food, and book your collection slot too. When you turn up, they have 2 queues. One is for ordering there and then, and the other is not eeally a queue because you just go in the 'collection' side and give them your name, and food is ready. Really good food. Really.good and friendly service. They deserve the 5 *.
Just for a little more info... the parking is a bit haphazard but I have always managed to park, they have tables and chairs outside and a real milk machine outside also. There is a little kerb outside and a very slight slope. I am disabled on crutches and am fine. Wheelchairs users may find it a little more difficult because of the very low kerb.
Delicious gluten free fish & chips, not too greasy and the small cod was fine for me though the standard looked massive. Includes tartare sauce/lemon and of course optional curry sauce/mushy peas. They also do vegan food which I would’ve ordered if I’d known it was also gluten free. Well worth the 30min return trip from Saundersfoot.
Chips was superb, staff was super lovely and welcoming and they have a coffee machine outside that can be used 24/7, I believe it's 2 pound for a cup and they have a lot of choice deals on meals too! All time top nosh.. Plus I saw that they do sunday dinner there or next door.. I will add photo's with details on for everyone 🙂
Excellent chips (crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, as they should be!) and as a coeliac it’s amazing to to able to order anything on the menu! My wife isn’t coeliac, but said the batter on her fish was the best she’s ever tasted - far nicer than ordinary batter. A little gem - will definitely be returning every time we visit Pembrokeshire 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Firstly, ignore all the reviews for Tenby and Saundersfoot's best fish and chips. Absolute nonsense. Take a short trip to Milton's and you won't be disappointed, I promise. Amazing and the best fish and chips I've ever had. They cater for most dietary requirements (vegan, vegetarian, gluten free etc)with enthusiasm and all options looked delicious as I waited for our regular fish and chips. You also have the option of various fried chicken if youre not fishy. The samples were lovely! There are 2 big bench tables outside but you have the added bonus of being welcomed into the lovely little pub across the road to eat your meal in their beer garden. I cannot stress enough that this is a must if you are in the area. Not to be missed. Well done Milton's, fish and chips on another level
I would have loved to have given this chip shop 5 stars as they are obviously very conscientious about providing great food and great service, but I didn't enjoy my fish or battered sausage: but I do think it may have more to do with being cooked in a different oil to regular chip shops. If I had of been blindfolded I would never have guessed that I was eating cod, but the chips were great and the chicken pie was really nice 👌
Absolutely delicious. Seemed cooked to order as you had to wait a short while after ordering until they called your name out. Portion size seemed huge too, and I'm a large bloke! 10/10.
Oh my what a find!!
This place is an absolute gem!! The Gluten free options were amazing and so tasty. I was spoilt for choice so had chips from the chippy and gf fried chicken from next door at the Milton Fried Chicken. The portions were generous too and staff very pleasant and helpful. Will be back! Thank you!
This is a great fish and chip shop and everything they cook is gluten free! Service was quick, staff were friendly and the food tasted great.
Fabulous fish and chips - can highly recommend. The batter was delicious and the best chip shop chips I’ve ever had! Came served with a wedge of lemon and tartar sauce. Well worth a visit.
Excellent food. All gluten free which still pleased those that eat gluten! Excellent service and plenty of empty boxes ☺️
Great little find! We usually go into Tenby itself to get fish & chips but this was definitely much tastier than what we’ve had on our mini-breaks to Pembrokeshire before! Love the little lemon and tartare that comes with the fish; will for sure visit again next time we are in the area!
Banana blossom vegan option was great to have. Chips could have been cooked a little longer but all round great meal
Best chips me and my partner have ever had hands down! We were staying locally for a couple days and it was so good we went back the next day! Crispy but fluffy, cooked fresh, honestly can’t recommend enough!
Also loved the locally made Welsh cakes outside
