Very nice cod and chips here with friendly staff. Wine and cider were also available. Came in a special box marked gluten free. So nice to have fish and chips in a sea side town
Wonderful, friendly staff who go above and beyond. Other half has a visible (bandaged) injury on his hand, so one of the workers offered to carry the tray over to our table for him. Food is absolutely stunning and great portion size. We both had the regular fish and chips and the fish was huge! Will
For a family with coeliac disease this place is awesome and well worth going to for gluten free fish and chips at D. Fecci & Sons. The staff were well informed and very polite as well as being up front with waiting times (as the gluten free meals are cooked to order) the takeaway section was well pl
Ordered Gluten Free cod and chips which were very reasonably priced at 10.75. Service was quick and friendly and the food itself was amazing. GF chips can be hit and miss at times but these were cooked to perfection.
It was a really yummy fish I enjoyed eating it and the chips were soft and nice the person who worked there gave us free bags of harribows as we’re leaving so I’d recommend popping in if you’re looking for somewhere to eat
Amazing fish and chips and the staff are amazing and funny and very warm and friendly
We came because friends recommended. The fish definitely was delicious. Perfectly cooked inside and a real crunchy batter on top. The scampi was also excellent. Fries and mashed pea - not so good. Lots of sitting room. Makes for a great lunch stop while wandering around and enjoying the beauty of Te
We got chips and mushy peas from here and have to say they were soooo good! Everyone loved them. We had tried a couple of other places during the day but have to say this was the best!
Food was excellent! As good as fish and chip can be except it doesn’t come wrapped in newspaper ;). Will recommend coming to this restaurant. Upon departure the staff attempted to say goodbye with bows and arigato (Japanese thank you). Very international indeed!!!
One of the best fish and chips shops in England but not the best. The ordering system is a bit confused in the beginning for a novice or tourist who hasn’t been there before but you get used to it. The portions are big for plaice but small for COD and a very popular place both for eating in and take
Had an excellent pie, chips and gravy. I’ve only given 4 stars as they didn’t have haddock on the menu. People working there are fun characters. I’d definitely go again.
Apparent favourite with the locals, fairly standard but nice enough tasting fish and chips (or whatever you prefer e.g. battered sausage). Clean and fairly accessible unisex loo, always a plus.
