very good service and food. wide range of fantastic choices and drinks. a pudding of ours was forgotten but very quickly made up once they realised the mistake! would definitely go back again. when first in the pub it seems like there would be no seating but very quickly were greeted by staff and lead through the pub and garden to the back newer part (as seen in photo) which had a lovely atmosphere and lighting really making it welcoming x

Had a fabulous meal here this evening. Lovely atmosphere,food amazing. Only let down by the young man behind the bar who took our order. Not a smile or any type of welcoming behaviour. Seemed like he didn't want to be there! Cod was massive and the best we have had in Tenby. Highly recommended the chicken and chicken burger.

Visited last night for a burger and a drink. The burger was fantastic, with lots of flavour and a smokey finish. Served with really, really nice chips that were crispy outside, fluffy inside, and perfectly seasoned. Good selection of drinks and good atmosphere too! They don't take bookings, so you may want to come in slightly earlier or later on the busiest days to ensure you can get a table. Child-friendly and dog-friendly too, it's certainly worth a visit!

We visited earlier tonight and were very impressed.
I had the Beetroot and Mushroom Burger and my wife had the Welsh Steak pie.
The meals were ordered at the bar and didn't take long to arrive. Both were piping hot and really tasty.
We'd definitely recommend this place 👍🏻

Really good choice of ales and the food is also good. The service is good. If you enter from the alley way it can be a bit confusing. If you enter form the top though you may not realise how much room they have. The beer garden is awesome and there are some places under cover.

Could not fault the beers or the food in anyway at all.
Really spoiled for choise on the beers, be that draft, or bottled, the choice and quality was simply devine.
The staff were great, welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much to ask.

Food was absolutely amazing! It was very busy when we arrived but despite that our food came very quickly. Food was very fresh and delicious. Great portion sizes and staff were very friendly too.

This is a great pub on the main road through Tenby town. It has a lovely beer garden at the rear and there is lots of seating inside too. They have a great range of beers including their own selection. The best thing for us was the food, the steak and ale pie was really good as well as the burger. Prices were reasonable too.

Having ordered a meal for 7 of us immediately after my friend, my friends order arrived within 10 minutes. They had to ask on three separate occasions for missing items - but at least received their meals . After around 20 minutes and having noticed customers who had ordered after us had meals brought to them, I asked three different waitresses where our meals were - the third brought out my friends receipt but not ours - following having to go back to the bar to query where the meals were we were told they would check. We were then told there would be a 30 minute wait for our food as they had not taken our order through but that we would have a refund, and what all of us thought the waitress had said was that we would still receive our meal. We confirmed we would wait and they bought the refund, not quite in full, to us and we sat for a further 30 minutes. When we questioned again where the food was we were told there must have been some confusion as they don't give away free food ! We were told we had all misheard the girl who had told us we would still be receiving food and the four of us sitting at the table at the time were all wrong ! Whilst I may admit a full refund and free food may be too much to expect we weren't even offered a complimentary drink or a slight reduction on the meal cost despite our wait of over an hour and 30 mins, or at least the meals being done immediately after they had admitted their mistake - not a great first impression for our first visit to Tenby needless to say we won't be visiting this establishment again.

Fantastic little pub. Would recomend to anyone visiting Tenby. The food is outstanding and portion sizes huge (even for the little 1s). Just under ÂŁ60 for 7 meals (4 adults and 3 children)- Not including drinks. The young staff members couldn't do enough for us especially the young lad serving us food. He was very polite and a credit to your team!! The beer garden Is lovely with lots of heaters in this cold damp weather! Will be back soon ďż˝

We holidayed in Tenby two years ago and visited the Buccaneer. I had the fish pie which can only be described as excellent. Two years later I couldn’t wait to come and try this amazing dish again. You certainly didn’t disappoint it was as fantastic! The staff were lovely and very friendly. Keep up the excellent work.

Eaten here many times and have always had lovely food and managed to sit in the beer garden(weather permitting) as it’s always busy. Again we had a lovely meal, food was piping hot and service was fantastic, only downside,my sons fried egg that came with his Gammon was so well done and crispy he couldn’t eat it.

Excellent town centre pub in Tenby. Staff very friendly and welcoming. They also have the Harbwr Brewery, so have an excellent range of real ales always available. Food also good - a decent range mixing traditional pub food with a number of seafood dishes, as you would expect for a seaside location. And the portions are on the generous side, so you won't leave the premises hungry. Beer garden looked great but we were there on a ridiculously cold weekend, so opted for seating near the fire inside instead.

We have been eating in the Buccaneer, and then the Brewery when it opened, for many years. We stay in a house in Queens Parade when we can, who advertise the Brewery. We reserved a table again tonight expecting our normal lovely meal. Too our disappointment we had to wait over an hour for our food to arrive (we were only told there was an hour and 1/4 delay after we complained after 55 mins wait)and when it came was not the normal standard, the lamb shank had none of the normal lovely gravy but very dry. I advised the manager we weren’t happy and were going to leave negative feedback. She was lovely and apologised. They were busy and I think had a staff shortage. We had some money off our bill and a round of drinks on the house. I am hoping this is a one off and after such a lovely response to our complaint, will come again. I think having a member of staff dedicated to the brewery alone would be more helpful. I think drink sales would increase as people are more lightly to get another drink from the bar there than have to go inside the buccaneer.

One of our favourite pubs in Tenby. The heaters are always on in the covered beer garden and it's dog friendly.
The food is good and the beer cold, what more could you want.

My wife and I are in the area for a week's holiday we were in Tenby and liked the look of the place, both our meals were fab đź–’đź–’I had the burger and Debs had the steak and ale pie, both portions were huge.
