Great gastro pub, tasty homemade food . Can highly recommend lasagne, cod and chilli . Great atmosphere with very efficient happy staff. We obviously had to have Eton mess , lemon tart and sticky toffee and they were all fab . Thank you for a fab birthday meal .

Wow - the food portions here are massive! You need quite the appetite to clear one’s plates! Fortunately the food is well prepared and tastes great - obviously freshly prepared and cooked. The staff are also awesome - very friendly and looked after our party of five very well. Enjoyed the entire experience 👍

We had been looking for ages for somewhere to eat and just happened to drive past. It looked really lovely from the outside. I booked a table online and the only option we had was rear restaurant or bar area and on a Saturday night we didn't fancy the bar area as we were on a romantic holiday. When we arrived the staff were lovely and very accommodating. The food was absolutely out of this the world! Flavours and presentation was just amazing. I haven't given 5 stars as I was given some kind of vinegarette with my fajitas when it said it came with sour cream. And we got sour cream with the nacho starters. The fajitas just weren't the same. Otherwise great service, fab little hidden gem! Would definitely return if in the area again!

Whilst staying in nearby Cold Blow we decided to stop here and have a drink and bite to eat. It was a mid afternoon stop. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the staff were very friendly. The food was gorgeous. My better half ordered the mackerel for starters of the specials menu and I had the duck spring rolls. They tasted sublime. For mains I had chilli nachos whilst my love had Spaghetti Bolognese. They were delicious. The portions were great. If you fancy a lovely friendly pub to share good time that you must give this a try if you are ever in the area.

stopped off on the way through to Tenby and had a great meal, there were 9 in our party and the staff were obliging and put tables together for us.The meals were outstanding . The Steak and Ale pies were so tasty. One of the Staff members stood out, Tom couldn't help enough. We returned the following day to dine again, and again had food that all the party were so pleased with. This would be my local if I didn't live 5 hours away. Thank you for the best dinners for our week in Wales.

Had the chicken fajitas and they were amazing. Shame they had run out of the steak ones as I imagine they would have been just as good. Price was really good, staff were quick and friendly and atmosphere was great.

We had a last-minute meal here, a decision I will always be happy with. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere was just as warm and welcoming. The food was amazing. We all said that we would be returning on every trip to Wales. I highly recommend it to all. The car park was full but there was plenty of parking on the side road. A nice stroll back to the car after an amazing meal is just what you need. Thanks to all the staff.

We were staying in the area and house hunting. Whilst driving to and fro from lots of different areas we frequently drive past this place. It’s easy to just drive by as it’s facing a busy main road. Luckily we were earlier than expected for a viewing and so stopped for lunch. I am glad we did. Outside the signage is a modern feel and quite inviting. Entering you encounter a traditional country pub feel and although it seemed to be a place the locals go to, we were welcomed and staff were very friendly. We were seated and the lady kindly took my crutches so they didn’t fall over. We were allowed to park the car outside the front window so we could keep an eye on our vehicle which had the dogs in. We didn’t know at the time it was dog friendly. Menu is simple and prices are reasonable. I opted for homemade soup and a sandwich (a combo offer offered on the menu), this is a great idea as it saves paying for two separate dishes. I really liked the thinking behind this. My wife ordered home made lasagne and garlic new potatoes. The new potatoes were in a creamy garlic sauce and in a separate side dish. My wife said it was very tasty. Would highly recommend the establishment if your passing- remember it’s easy to drive by but worth stopping if you want good food and a friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend and would definitely go by again if we decide to move to the area.

I and my partner have just experienced the best Sunday lunch we have had and believe me as a 54 year old Yorkshire man I have had many and some very very good ones but I have just had the best one ever I had beef and my partner had lamb every thing about the meals was perfect all hot fresh tasty veg piping hot potatoes and plentiful tasty meats good size portions and good value for money. We are in ludchurch for a week as we where last year and we had a nice bar meal at the boars head which we thought was very good but we thought we would try again with a Sunday lunch and you should definitely try this place all I can say is phenomenal keep up the good work and service guy’s we will be back.

First class pub! Does all the pub classics well by the looks of it. The food we had was superb, as we're the drinks. The pub is in a lovely part of Wales with lovely views and is welcoming and modern. The staff were Excellent, friendly but knew exactly what they were doing; I would highly recommend this place!
