Absolutely lovely place to stop for lunch, found it on route to Ragley house, what a gem! Fantastic food , staff so lovely, friendly helpful a beautiful place to stop! You won't be disappointed, will return when we next in area, many thanks for a lovely afternoon 😊
This is a traditional country pub with a friendly atmosphere. The staff were very helpful, however, it was not as suitable for our disabled friend as we had been led to believe. The menu offered a good choice for lunch & evening meals. These were cooked to perfection & well presented. If I was visiting the area again I would definitely stay here.
Beautiful meal, lovely surroundings that were very cool on a hot day �. The lemon and lime cheesecake was one of the best I've tasted. Highly recommend.

very relaxed atmostphere .food was gorgeous . The Al a carte menu suited all types, you could pick one course, two courses or three courses. The staff were so friendly and customer focused. Thank you for a lovely experience
The staff were very friendly. The food was amazing and massive portions. Room was large too. Folk music last night, all by memory and not an amp in sight. Great night. Highlight of my trip was the fish in the old well.

The best service, friendliest team there is around. It’s like going and having a drink with a friendly family. You just feel like part of the furniture in a good way. The food if you dine here is spectacular.
Dropped in for an evening meal with the family and had a great time. Really welcoming staff, lovely atmosphere and great food. The beef shin pie was particularly good. Will definitely return next time we're in the area.
We arrived Sunday to a lovely big spotless room which was refreshed everyday.
The food was fantastic service very quick and always clean and tidy the breakfast 10 out 10 full English.
The staff were polite and service was good we could not find fault and if we're every up that way again this is were we would stay again

They were impressed how welcoming Steve was. The room was spotless, the breakfast superb, the whole experience great. Anyone who needs accommodation in this area should seriously consider staying here. It's definitely worth every penny.
What great service, friendly staff and the food was amazing! The mushroom cake starter was a good size and delicious! Meat eaters don’t pass it by! I was only passing by and decided to stop for a starter and glass of wine. Worth every penny! I was travelling solo and made to feel very welcome!
The Cappuccino was worth calling in for too!

Great location for touring Stratford area, excellent food and courteous staff. Room was OK but the weather was REAL hot and it only had a small window that didn't let much fresh air in but let plenty of noise in from the fans outside! But overall it was a lovely stay and good value
Picked this from the available places with a voucher for a 2 night stay. So pleased with our choice... on arrival we met with some of the helpful and friendly staff, and this continued throughout our stay. Stayed in one of the refurbished bedrooms which was really comfortable, albeit where we were there's a constant low background noise (room 10). Not that it disturbed our sleep as bed was really comfy and we had a great shower! Food was excellent... everything we had from breakfasts, snacks, or evening meals was freshly prepared, really tasty and nicely presented. Will definitely return if we get the chance!
Great country pub close to Stratford-upon-Avon, and representing very good value for the location. Our room was very comfortable and clean and we appreciated the late check out. The evening food was a little disappointing (its not a gastropub so don't expect too much). I wasn't impressed with the breakfast selection, being the usual packaged cereals or a yogurt pot, with a choice of just eggs (one of 3 ways) or a very ordinary full English. Loved seeing the fish in the refresh water well next to the bar.
Highly recommended. We came here spontaneously for Sunday lunch and I'm so glad we did. I had the lamb and it was so lovely and tender. My friends had the pork belly and it was beautiful, perfectly roasted and the whole plate presentation was great.
The building itself has real charm and great atmosphere and the owner, Stefan, was really friendly and made our time really enjoyable.
The wife and I have passed by a few times and promised to have a meal there and today was the day. Had a beautiful lunch in really nice surroundings. I had the Duck which was one of the best meals I've had. The wife had chicken and said it was delicious. The beer selection was above average and the staff were excellent in all aspects, very friendly and informative about the ingredients in the meal. Sticky toffee pudding and two coffees to finish both were five star. I don't mind waiting for freshly cooked food as if a place is busy and you get your meal in fifteen minutes then it's either preprepared or pinged in a microwave. Nice outside seating if you want it, large car park and three electric charging points if you're an eco friendly traveller. All in all a five star lunch, brilliant.
