Best chip shop I've ever been to, never had a bad meal from here.

Fish and chips used to be a working man's treat. Once a week on a Friday. Not anymore. Too expensive. Understandable really, what with inflation, lock down etc. But if I fancy treating myself. It's Andy's, nowhere else.

I have always been a great fan of this chip shop. Been coming here for years and it is still consistent with the quality of food great service too. It's now 2023 and I have found this chippy to be still consistent. I mainly buy fish and chips chicken and chips or plain chicken meat and chips in a tray with sweet chilli and mayo. I also have curry sauce which works well and tastes great.

Food is absolutely spot on, never had a bad one. Chips are always so fresh and the cod is amazing! Only thing that lets it down here is the customer service, older lady with dirty blonde hair is always rude. On my last visit I was stood waiting directly opposite her and she did not serve me, instead continued her conversation with a customer, and then someone else walked in and she went to serve him straight away so I had to intervene and let her know I had been patiently waiting for her but don’t appreciate her choosing to not serve me and serve the man Behind me in the queue instead. Always very bad service from this lady, she never smiles and it does make an atmosphere in the shop. Apart from that tho the rest of the staff are lovely and fortunately for owner the food is to good to let your rude staff member stop people coming in but it may be worth speaking with her as it is frustrating and uncomfortable.

Since moving from the black country to Shropshire I've struggled to find a good chippy, Andy Fish Bar is a good substitute, however appreciate everyone was busy when I visited on Friday, but I feel some of the staff need to be a bit more welcoming and friendly.

Possibly the best chippy in Telford if not miles further. No matter what food they serve it is always delicious. The staff are always lovely and polite and busy . Best for us is the fish as we haven't had better anywhere, very moist ,perfectly white and covered in perfect batter. Thank you all from the jones's

Visited this chippy whilst visiting Ironbridge and have to say they were absolutely amazing. I had the mini fish value box and my partner had a large fish and chips and a jumbo sausage for the dog's. Will definitely use this chippy again if in the area, shop is clean and food is hot and very tasty with chips like they used to be, not dry and hard! Staff very pleasant and friendly which also makes a nice change these days 😀 😀

I hadn't been there in about 20 years. It was great to see the same guy running it. It is clean and the service was excellent. The food was wonderful and went down well. Thank you to everyone at the shop.

Very willing to help me order, there’s no wheelchair access due to many steps, but I felt I had excellent service
