Went for a meal at the huntsman on Friday evening to arrive to a very warm welcome from all the staff, drinks were offered straight away and then taken through to my table. I had a rump steak with was beautiful, I must say the best I’ve ever had. A very enjoyable night came to an end and has definitely left me wanting me to return. I very strongly recommend the huntsman of Little Wenlock to anyone local or just passing by. I’d just like to thank you to all the staff who made our evening so enjoyable and memorable.

I was here a couple of weekends ago with my parents I came from London and my parents from Kent coast . To go to blists hill Victorian village . A very long way to travel and defo worth the journey . This place is so beautiful and has the most amazing atmosphere too . The staff are extremely friendly and courteous and went out there way to make sure our weekend stay was an enjoyable one . The breakfast is excellent , the evening dining was delicious . Although everything u look for in a stay away from cleanliness to good food was top notch , what actually makes this place so lovely isn't just that , it's the people who run it and their staff and the remembered touches from the day before , my tea addiction lol ! Thank u so much for making us feel so very welcome . Defo will be returning again Thank u x

Fell upon the lovely place after walking up the Wrekin. Dog and walker friendly which we were looking for. Asked were we could sit as had the dog with us and was shown into a lovely cosy room, real fire and very friendly staff. Great choice of menus ( lunch time), mains, light bites, sandwiches and specials. We were also asked if the dog needed a drink or anything, ordered food and drinks, can honestly say this was a gem of a find, food lovely, friendly and very welcoming. Can’t wait to return.

We decided on a last minute booking for Sunday dinner on 2nd July & were very pleasantly surprised, we decided on the sharing platter for 2 which is more than ample for the healthiest of appetites, we did manage 3 courses & each one was fabulous. The serving staff were excellent & we will back back very soon. 😊

We stayed here for one night as it was close to a wedding we were going to the next day. All the staff we so friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent and the full English breakfast next morning was one of the best I've had. Plenty of parking too and I imagine there are some lovely walks locally.

Went to the Huntsman with a 3 friend Staff was friendly food was reasonable I had mushroom starter which I enjoyed main was the fish pie it was very hot. Enjoyed the pie but there was an imbalance of fish there was a lot more salmon than anything else but as I said I enjoyed it. price slightly above average starts around £8:00 Mains £14: upwards.

Excellent evening meals, the fish pie, and pea and asparagus risotto. Breakfasts were also very good, full English cooked breakfast or smoked salmon with scrambled egg. Comfortable, clean bedroom and shower. Very professional and helpful staff. I found that the ironing board cover was a challenge to use.

Popped in for a birthday lunch The pub is very well presented with professional and very pleasant staff, ordered a real ale from the bar and was seated in the restaurant. The ale was of excellent cask condition so top marks for cellar work, we ordered 10oz rump steak "rare" it came with mushrooms, onion rings, tomato and hand cut chips. Firstly the steak was cooked to perfection and rare as requested, secondly the hand cut chips were the best chips I have had in a restaurant for years, they were thick cut crunchy outside not over cooked and soft and fluffy inside "perfection" The overall experience was very good and a big shout out for the waitress nothing was to much trouble and very attentive thank you. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be going back

We stopped off at The Huntsman for a drink after walking up the Wrekin. My husband had a pint of Butty Bach....very much a slurry pint and could have stayed the rest of the afternoon. I had a pot of tea. Lovely find .... The rooms and restaurant looked lovely, and those that had eaten said the meals were lovely.

Its years since I have been here. We had a party of 16. Service was amazingly quick, polite and helpful. But the food was excellent. Definitely bringing my wife here next time. Portions not too big, so there was room for delightful deserts. I spoke to the management afterwards to thank them for a lovely evening.

Food is well prepared and presented, which pubs of this standard generally do. The staff make this place for me, seems like nothing is too much and the service was quick, I was very impressed, very relaxed atmosphere. Going for a Sunday roast sharing plate very soon :)
