The food was excellent, the atmosphere is extremely blunt. The bar lady could have been a bit welcoming and just a bit of smile could have done the trick, she was like a robot, but both of the waitresses were friendly and provided a great service.
We changed upon this pub after trying various other locals. And we are glad we did. We had two courses including the carvery. If your not full after the carvery it's unlimited. The staff were all polite and friendly. Nothing was a bother. They have WiFi and clean toilets. The food was delicious
Food and service was wonderful, stayed at the local camping spot nearby and was recommended this place. It had the lovely country pub feel we were looking for including the food! Thankyou for a wonderful meal 😊

I can honestly say it's the best carvery I've had this year.
Everything was fresh and hot, I would just say it would of been better with hot plates, all that's needed are some serviettes to carry them.

We have been to the Duck to collect one of their takeaway meals for the family. We rang earlier to place our order and were given a specific pick up time and got there early. They came out to the carpark at the arranged time. Got home to unpack the food and it was all perfectly packed and all 4 meal

Came here today for a Sunday carvery, the food was delicious and all cooked to perfection.
There was a real homely feel about the place and lovely to see the family working together. The staff were all super friendly and very welcoming. We will definitely be returning here 😊
Fabulous carvery, meat lovely and generous. Lots of fresh veg. The gin was also lush, bombay bramble and very lovely decorated.
Absolutely never fails to meet all expectation. Friendly staff, beautiful food and great all you can eat portions, at a perfect price! My all time favorite is the caramelised onion and goats cheese tart- i take it home as a treat later.

Brilliant Sunday carvery meal with great service. Worked out roughly £20 for carvery and dessert. Already planning next visit.
