Stayed here for one night as part of a motorbike trip. Great parking facilities, next door to fuel station so great if you're needing fuel as part of your trip. There seemed to be quite a few electric charging stations too?
The pub itself has a very nice atmosphere. It's bright and clean with nice decor. Outside area is south facing so lovely to sit in the sun.
The staff were very helpful and cheery. They provided a very good service throughout our stay. The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable and the hotel quiet at night. Food was very good. Evening meal and breakfast. The price was very competitive so a good deal all round. Would definitely stay here again.
Upon arrival we were greeted by a member of staff who seated us straight away. Our drink and food order were taken promptly and drinks brought to the table not long after ordering. We didn't have to wait long for our food which was served to us hot and looked delicious. It turned out to be just as good as it looked, even our fussy 9 year old enjoyed her mac and cheese! We ordered puddings, again not having to wait too long for these and also tasted great. Staff were friendly and polite the whole time we were there and everything look clean and inviting. Very pleased with our visit.
Had a proper lovely meal here with my two friends. Massive thank you to Jayne who was an incredible server and made our stay all the more humorous and welcoming. Would recommend, good food too!
Food was great value and arrived quickly. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The dining area is really nice and much plusher than you usually get in a pub-restaurant. Looking forward to eating there again.
Food was quickly served , drinks order was taken straight away and brought to the table promptly. Waiter asked if we had any allergies before we ordered , food was amazing, well presented , hot and freshly cooked ( well done team kitchen )

The staff are pleasant, helpful and friendly, and the room was clean and fresh.
We had a meal in the evening and breakfast, can't fault the food or the service.
I would definitely recommend it to friends and family and also stay again myself. 5 stars for me.

We had a most enjoyable evening, the food was excellent and both mine and my husbands steak was cooked perfectly. Jane was our waitress and she was a delight, friendly, communicative and we had a bit of a giggle with her, she was so good natured. The only one thing that irritated us slightly was that when we were seated, our elderly friend felt a little uncomfortable with the table we were given so we asked the manager if we could possibly be seated elsewhere, she said unfortunately not as they were fully booked so no other tables were available to us. A gentleman did alter the positioning of the ceiling light for us as it was shining directly into our friends eyes and we were grateful. What did irritate us though was that throughout the evening, we could see that there were tables that remained empty so unless there had been a mass ‘not going out tonight because it’s raining’ we felt we had been incorrectly advised!!!! The manager didn’t even check on the computer to confirm whether or not the other tables were available, so it rather felt as if it was easier for us to be treated dismissively. It did not detract from the evening though and as I said, the service and the food was excellent. We will most definitely visit again very soon.
Overall we enjoyed the experience. We like the setting, the service was very good and we really enjoyed the food. On this occasion there was live music which we did not enjoy. In our opinion, It was loud and not very good quality. We did not stay for coffees due to the noise.

The food was, as always perfectly cooked and plentiful. The only thing that slightly let the evening down was the wait for the food but there didn't seem to be enough staff on shift tonight. Not to worry, though, there's a lovely little play area for younger kids and the food was worth the wait. Recommended.
I live in Birmingham and my friend lives in Telford. We planned to go to a different place to eat but it was closed so we chose to drive around and the lights in Fallow field just attracted us and I do not regret it. The staff were great and attentive, the food was amazing and I was so impressed with the portion size; my Passion fruit mocktail was amazing. There was a live singer who bought such great ambience to the atmosphere.
Came for breakfast this morning. Nothing was to much trouble for the waitress Julie very friendly the selection was fab and fruit was all fresh our breakfast came out hot and freshly cooked presented nicely and was tasty. Chef today was Kim so thankyou both. Will definitely come again.
Excellent service and the food exceeded my expectations. Steak was cooked just right, chips were very good. Kids burger was good quality. One of the best meals my family and I have had in Telford for a good few years
We came to the restaurant to celebrate my friends birthday. I was extremely grateful for the wonderful service from our waitress Ellice, she made sure we were looked after and made a special effort in making sure my friend had a
perfect birthday meal. We ordered the steak and it was cooked to perfection. Thank you to the chef, perfectly cooked medium rare.
We will definitely be back soon.

Called into Fallow Field restaurant this afternoon as our local restaurant was fully booked, but I think we’ve now found another fave to add, the welcome on arrival was very friendly, a smiling face and warm welcome is always fabulous, our table of 4 was clean and light (I don’t like dull lighting, I like to see the menu, and not hold at funny angles to see it!) we were given our waitresses name beforehand and after Jane came with menus, she took our drinks order. Jane was a great hostess she delivered our drinks and food orders, nothing was too much trouble for her, seeing that we had the extras we asked for. Exemplary service, generous menu, and fair pricing ( most unusual nowadays!) highly recommend this restaurant.
We’ve never had a bad meal or bad service here. On today’s visit they even managed to raise the bar. We walked in without an appointment and despite being up against it due to being under staffed, the team managed to fit us in, after a very short delay(they initially said it would be an hour wait) we got a table, our order taken, and food served. Outstanding! Even whilst they were struggling with staff they still delivered brilliant service and top grub!
