Absolutely enjoy this place because it has the best carvery at the best price. Thank you to all the staff.
My family and I have been regulars there for the last 8 years. The food is always lovely. Jim cooks the best roast dinner ever.The pub is clean and staff pleasant. All this for just £4.99 and a drink. Who can complain? I would highly recommend to anyone living in or visiting the Telford area and of course parking is free and not a problem�����

Amazing wee gem. Staff are fab and incredibly fast friendly and the food was good. You get what you pay for with a carvery and for £4.99 a head, it was epic and the kids loved being able to eat what they wanted!

We were down for an event, we found pub and decided to try the carvery and it was lovely and cheap. The staff were very polite and friendly so the next day after the show we popped in for a drink before heading north and the member of staff who served us the day before was on till again and remembered us! We even had a joke with each other!

Carvery used to be very very good, but over the few years it has been not as great as it used to be. All the made to order dishes and puddings and desserts are very good. With the carvery the meats are generally OK considering it's quite cheap, you get beef, turkey and gammon. The veg always changes and this visit there was no broccoli and cabbage but there was a lot of alternatives. For example there was Mediterranean veg which is quite unusual but caters for different wants I guess.
Daily carvery for a nice and the service is good.
They are very allergy conscious too.
I’m terms of decor it’s very traditional and looking a bit tired, but nothing major.

Popped in on impulse for a quick lunch. I had fish and chips which was the best I've had for a long time. The fish was cooked to perfection with light crispy beer batter and the chips were light and crispy. My husband had sausages and mash. Both meals were delicious and portion sizes were just right.
Had a lovely carvery today, when I entered the restaurant Chris served us and he was very nice to talk too. After being seated we went up to collect our food and jack was lovely to talk too and did a wonderful job. Gavin made sure our food was all okay for us and gave excellent customer service.

They do the BEST carverys, and the pigs in blankets we're lovely, didn't have to wait for Christmas for those! Thank you to the kitchen staff for giving excellent service especially Dan and Jack. And the front of house for greeting us so kindly, Elaine and another man's name to which I have forgotten!

Popped in here for a carvery after visiting the nearby Attingham Park. Staff were lovely and friendly and the food was delicious, would recommend!
Me and the wife had a carvery here quite late in the evening, so we expected everything to be a little dried up! However, the carvery was good and we both enjoyed it. The Yorkshire puddings were spongy and not crispy but I liked them. The gravy had good consistency with nice flavour. All the meats (gammon, turkey, beef) were well cooked, moist, with good flavour.
The staff were friendly and provided good service. So if you like a carvery give the Severn Gorge a try 😀
Despite being unexpectedly busy we had a great experience today. Four adults n four children meals all delivered in a reasonable time. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Lou was great taking our special orders and everything was as we ordered.
Kelsi was great looking after us.

Food was brilliant and well cooked, Tim on carvery was pleasant, Kelsi on the menu food was great, Burgers were late but we were well accommodated as we got free desserts. 5 stars!
Came to the severn gorge this evening from out of town.The carvery was great. Meats were good portions. Generally a good evening out. Gavin was very hospitable and Tim from the kitchen team made sure the carvery was displayed well and kept in order. Good warm hearty food from the carvery. Would come again if visiting telford in future.

Although we should have booked Gavin found us a great table that was able to accommodate my wheelchair.
The food was fresh and delicious carved with skill and a smile by Tim and Ben.
Kate was great at front of house and made sure that we were happy and even found the recipe for the amazing red cabbage for me.
It was a nice easy pub dinner, tried BBQ cauliflower wings for the first time and would have again!!
Turned up at midday on Sunday and, despite lots of bookings, they managed to squeeze us in. Kim and Gav were very helpful, and the kitchen team Tim and Kate produced a delicious carvery. Sadly, owing to having somewhere to be, (and full stomachs!) we were unable to try desserts, maybe next time. Plenty of parking and near town center. Would highly recommend for a visit.
Visited here for the first time on Thursday 26th was looking at main options but me and my partner decided to go for carvery the meat was amazing and the veg was steaming on service and very fresh, we told Ben about our allergies and his reply was “Thank you for telling me that you have an allergy if you are okay to wait a few seconds just to clean the area and change everything before plating just to protect yourself” we was so please on the service and Gavin was such a lovely person to deal with a great management and Ben was fantastic will be returning next quiz night 👌🏼❤️

As my hometown doesn't have its own carvery serving resteraunt, I found this place to get my Sunday roast fix. I've been here many times times and it never disappoints!
Today in particular I had to make a last minute alteration to my booking to accommodate for a few friends who were going to join me. I phoned up, 30 minutes before my original booking to push it back 15 minutes and get 3 people added on. I explained the situation, and to my surprise, they were more than happy making the ammendments. Considering the last minute change, I was expecting that they wouldn't be able to much and that I may have had to make other plans.
We were met by Gavin, who showed us to our table and explained how everything works to my friends who have never visited before.
We were then served our carvery by Tim and Kate, who were very friendly and welcoming! I have seen some reviews here where the staff have been called rude. I've never once had a bad experience with the members of staff from this establishment. Every member of staff has always been kind and courteous without fail.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great carvery in the Telford area!

We visited the Severn Gorge on Monday 3 July, and had a wonderful meal there. We were so impressed that we returned on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. We received a friendly welcome from Gavin, Elaine and their team, who all help to create a pub with a relaxed welcoming atmosphere. The pub is spotlessly clean, and the food is well prepared and presented by Ryan in the kitchen. There is a good selection on the menu, and everything that we have ordered has been delicious. The Severn Gorge is family and dog friendly, and we fully intend to take our grandchildren on our next visit. We have no hesitation in recommending the Severn Gorge as a great place to visit for a meal or a relaxing evening.
