We arrived early for our reserved table and were shown straight to it and orders taken, food was brought out quickly. We both had lamb shoulder with dauphinoise potatoes, it tasted absolutely amazing! The sticky toffee pudding and cheesecake were equally as tasty! Jake our server was friendly and efficient, going as far as sharing his after work taxi with us and another couple who were also staying at The Old Rectory so we didn't have to wait for one! Will definitely visit again!

Having visited on numerous occasions for family anniversaries/birthdays I've always found the staff to be very attentive and friendly. Never had a problem with the quality of the food. People need to remember this isn't a fast food joint, but a restaurant where proper food is prepared from scratch, and cooked by qualified chefs.

Simply Lovely. Can recommend the sour dough bread with portobello mushrooms and Shropshire blue cheese - very tasty! 😊

Pan fried venison with Dauphinoise potatoes, roast parsnip & blackberry jus – the venison haunch was a beautiful piece of meat which in a classy juniper rich blackberry jus. The veg was great, especially the parsnips and with a creamy, garlicky Dauphinoise was a joyous thing.

***Wow*** Been visiting the Woodbridge Inn for sometime now but never got round to giving them a review. Called in at lunchtime today, the building was warm and toasty for this cold autumn day. The atmosphere here is excellent, everyone is happy and having a good time. The staff are hip, fresh and current, they’re very friendly and helpful and made my stay a pleasure. The food is simply first class, I was going to take a photo of my meal but it looked so good that I couldn’t wait to eat it. The tastes are amazing and the food had been cooked to perfection. Onto the location…… You could not wish for a better location to admire the beauty of the surroundings, from the river Severn Bankside positioning to the historic bridge which gives access over the river and to the car park. It’s simply beautiful! Ten stars……..

Stunning old building next to a roaring river. Food was magnificent and the service fabulous. They had fires going inside. It's pup friendly which I absolutely love.

Really nice pub, and scenery. Lovely staff and really good drinks. I didn’t have the food but it looked great. There was plenty of outdoor seating and great views over the river. I would definitely come back for the food another time.

Wonderful, beautiful outstanding setting right by the river. Plenty of seating inside and out. They are for breakfast lunch, dinner, make sure you reserve a table as it is really busy. Food was excellent. Service was brilliant 🤩

Nicely situated, very popular pub, above the banks of the Severn. We had a table in a bay alcove, overlooking the river. Food was very good and plentiful. Dog friendly, with a promotional display of doggie food. Adequate parking during our visit, a Friday lunchtime, on a very hot day. Recommended.

Popped in for my Mum's birthday. Really glad we did. Amazing food. We're all gluten free, and the lad that looked after us - Mark, really knew his stuff. They even had a gluten free beer on tap. Excellent food, service and value. Definitely be back. Thank you.

An impromptu dinner after a busy day. A warm welcome, allergy awareness & fantastic food. My Haddock & Salmon fishcakes were at least two inches thick, homemade & delicious. The warm chocolate brownie was dark & indulgent. Family/dog friendly with board games to borrow for the younger guests. Two mains, two desserts, 1 soft drink & 1 alcoholic.

Pleasant riverside pub with lots of outdoor space. Decent and plentiful roast dinner, with beef cooked pink (roasties could have been crispier). Nice walk along river path to Ironbridge if want to build up appetite.

Excellent Sunday lunch, fantastic choice of meals. The service was also excellent! Considering the Woodbridge was very busy, we were really impressed with the timing throughout. Highly recommend 👌
