My wife, daughter &I popped into this restaurant as we had heard lots of people rate it. Its only a small place with around a dozzen tables and one or two outside but my word, the quality of the food was excellent and has been one of the top meals I've had. Everything was local and freshLy cooked

We were lucky enough to get the last table at The Salty on Saturday evening. to enjoy one of the best meals we've had in a long time. Crab cakes were delicious & the rib-eye steak was so tender & perfectly cooked (husband not a fish fan!). Service was friendly & attentive - just the right blend.
I went with my family (two adults, two children) and we each had a different meal from the menu. Everyone of us was impressed by the quality of their meals; the Turbot was wonderful, the mussels superb, the Thai crab cakes divine and the fish goujons just what a fussy eleven year old needed.
