Wow what amazing birthday meal we had with our friends, its a very small restaurant with 16 covers. The owner is extremely attentive , the wine choices are brilliant. The food was so tasty , the meat moist and non fatty ( I had a lamb dish ). We will return , thankyou 😉
It feels like you are dining in someone's living room, and it's fantastic! The food is incredible and that's what you are there for, everything else is secondary. This is one of those "hole in the wall" places that you hear people rave about, do not pass it by.
Only a tiny little restaurant . Only probably fit 12 /16 people at a push. Only one gentleman at the front taking orders and drinks. Two chefs at the back. The food I have to say was very tasty and excellent but can be pricey. Be aware you can only pay cash..
Best curry you'll ever eat! We have been coming here every year while on holiday for many years and it is always beautifully cooked, wonderful tasting, good quality cuisine, every single time! It's still the best curry we've ever had anywhere in the uk. It's worth mentioning that you need to book ah
Food was amazing, and the service was great Tiny restaurant, very intimate but didn't feel intrusive. We had the lamb tikka pasanda, the chicken jalfrezi, tarka dal and pilau rice, all freshly cooked and delicious. Would happily go again!
My wife and I booked a table here on Saturday night just to try somewhere new. We were not disappointed - the food was outstanding, easily one of the best Indian meals I've had. The restaurant is tiny, so book a table, but it's a great place. The service was absolutely perfect. We will definitely be
I have been to this Indian restaurant 3 times now, once with my husband & two more times with two different friends. Each time i ordered different dishes & they were all fantastic. So much flavour & excellent quality produce. Because it's rustic & authentic Indian it's a cut above most other Indian
Small restaurant, so you will need to book in advance but worth the trouble, great food, good atmosphere, just a heads up it's cash only,
Some of the best indian food ive ever eaten. Really good prices also.
Quite positively the smallest restaurant I've been in but one of the best curry's I've had.
This a tiny place. Only about 16 covers. However food and service are really excellent at a reasonable price. Cash only so be prepared!
Excellent little restaurant giving you the feeling of real personal service and superb food. Not many covers so booking essential and it's cash payment only. There are 3 Indian restaurants in Teignmouth but this our one of choice.
we always go here and the food is always gorgeous, we’ve brought friends and family and they’ve all loved it, the owner is a lovely guy and it’s such a nice little restaurant!!
Such a small ambiant atmosphere, the food however was delicious. The owner couldnt have been more helpful and the prtions were very generous. The leftovers were lunch for the following day. Highly recommended we'll be back there soon.
One one the best Indian Restaurants I have had the pleasure of reading at. Only downside is that it's cash only, no card. The food was amazing though!!
Very small and intimate dining experience, friendly service. Lime chilli, onion salad and raita dips (all homemade) were accompanied the thin, crisp popadoms. We ordered a wide selection of dishes (6 people) and each one was superb - ranging from child friendly tikka to moderately hot jalfrezi. Jus
Hidden little gem. Great food and service. Good prices. Please note the only take cash payments.
