I recently had the pleasure of stopping at a roadside pub in Teddington, and it turned out to be an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff, who were not only efficient but also genuinely happy, made me feel right at home.
One of the highlights of my visit was undoubtedly the food and drink offerings. The pub had an extensive menu that catered to a wide range of tastes. Whether you're a fan of traditional pub classics or looking for something more adventurous, this place had it all. The quality of the food was outstanding, leaving me thoroughly satisfied.
Not only was the food exceptional, but the drinks selection was equally impressive. The pub had a variety of choices, including a great selection of craft beers and wines, ensuring there was something to please every palate.
What struck me the most was how well-kept both the interior and exterior of the pub were. It's evident that the owners take great pride in maintaining a clean and inviting space. Whether you choose to sit inside or enjoy the fresh air outside, you're guaranteed a comfortable and pleasant environment.
Overall, I can't recommend this roadside pub enough. The combination of fantastic food and drink offerings, efficient and friendly staff, and the overall cozy ambiance made it an unforgettable stop. So, if you find yourself in Teddington, be sure to visit this gem of a pub. You won't be disappointed!
Very nice service and the food (I had a mixed grill) was delicious, the peppercorn sauce was the best I've had and everything was cooked beautifully.
I'd of preferred a griddled pineapple over a tomato, but that's just my preference.
Lovely little cozy pub, very friendly and welcoming. The food was very tasty and service was fantastic. Really deserves 5 stars but given four due to my only criticism being there wasn't a great amount of choice in the food menu. All in all definitely recommend.
Turned up on a Sunday to find it was carvery only. This was really nice. But there is only one veggie option which was a beetroot Wellington which wasn't very nice. Couple of veggie options would be nice. A quorn option or something as the rest is the carvery.
Gorgeous carvery, meat cooked extremely well. The Turkey was melt in the mouth, not the dry home cooked Xmas Dinner sort people associate with turkey. My wife can't have food with alcohol and the gravy contains it, but they were very happy to make her a small pot of non alcohol containing gravy. Server was very knowledgeable. Will definitely be going back.
The best home cooked roast dinner I have eaten at a pub. Excellent quality of meat and vegetables cooked to perfection. Unbelievable gravy. Very accommodating and friendly staff. We'll be back on next trip to Cheltenham 🙂
I am passing by this Inn daily for years and never been here due to some prejudices I have. Well, yesterday I've said to give it a try and Lord it was a good decision!
The staff is friendly, careful and polite. The food is excelent, at least what we had and the bill is OK. The sirloin steak was delicious, the lamb shank was tasty and homemade like. The crisps and vegs were fresh.
Overall I highly recommend the place.
Called in on way home from Cheltenham and had a standard English breakfast. My husbands was great but I have gluten and dairy allergy so not as good. I was given an alternative for sausage, and no black pudding but gf bread was nice. No alternative to milk so had a herbal tea.
We were the only ones there! Come on you lot. It's very nice and carvery on Wednesday and Saturday. Give it a go
Huge thank you to the team for making my partners Father’s Day so special! We had a lovely table, there was 8 of us ( 6 children ) and they accommodated us with everything we needed and nothing was too much trouble! The food was beautiful and service from bar staff, the front staff and the waiters/ manager were just lovely. Thank you so much we will definitely be back x

First visit to this great pub. There were nine of us celebrating my husbands 70th birthday. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The party included two vegetarians, a coeliac and a dairy and soy allergy. All were well catered for. It was a wonderfull cavery one of the best I have had.
We had a fantastic time and the staff sang happy birthday and brought out the cake that we had provided. Thank you to everyone who made our family gathering such a great experience. If we are in the area again will definitely come here to eat.

Drinks Orders taken , Drinks arrived very shortly afterwards. Lovely pint of peroni Draught larger .
Food was delicious, Fillet steak melted in your mouth. Probably the best steak I’ve ever had . Also the coleslaw was delicious,
My fiancée had the chicken curry, She loved it .
For dessert the cheesecake was outstanding, Again delicious and so different to other restaurants we have been to .
Definitely one we will return to .

Had the most friendliest welcome here. As a long distance HGV European driver I parked across the road in the truck stop, Saturday and Sunday night. Needed to park close to my delivery destination for Monday. The Teddington Hands is awesome 💥 I literally cannot fault the customer service 👌 Didn't eat here on Saturday, but on Sunday omg, the best Carvery I have had in such a long time 😋👍Most importantly, the dinner plates are kept warm, brilliant 👏 Pork, beef and turkey was offered. Yes please 🤣 Fresh vegetables in abundance, the homemade Yorkshire puds, delicious 😋

A really friendly pub/restaurant. Looks olde world but it's recently had a revamp.
Staff are great to banter with and the food is always first class
I've been meaning to pop into here for a while and last week I finally booked in. Although by a main road the outdoor area is spacious and has ample seating. We popped in for a carvery and was not disappointed. The meat was moist and cooked to perfection. There were lots of choice for vegatables and sides with ample sauces. Staff are really friendly and couldn't do enough for you. I look forward to a return visit.

We can’t speak highly about their service, their attention to detail and the delicious food on offer.
Upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady who wished Dan a Happy Fathers Day, as we were shown to our seats we were greeted by each member of staff on the way.
The carvery was piping hot, absolutely delicious and so much on offer. 4 meats Pork, Gammon, Turkey and Beef we had them all 😋
We have enjoyed many carvery’s but this one was one to remember and very reasonably priced!
This will be hard to beat - We will definately be back again

Very nice pub since refurbishment I went there for Sunday lunch we had the carvery which was of the highest quality and there was a good selection of vegetables and sauces and the gravy was very tasty the staff were very friendly and helpful and I will be certainly going back again
