Stopped off for lunch during a road trip. Warm welcome, friendly staff. Great choice of beers. Offered main menu, lunch menu, and specials. My 'black & blue' burger (Angus and Stilton) was very tasty indeed. And very filling. Companion's cheese sandwich also very good, nice and simple proper food. W
Food absolutely great! Staff very welcoming and friendly, finding a place like this to eat has helped make our holiday memorable ☺️

Amazing pub, responded to my emails very quickly, very helpful and sent off for menus.
When we got to the pub it was busy, good sign to me, we was greeted and shown to our table. Drink orders was taken then shortly after our food orders. About 35 or so minutes later our food started turning up, look

Super Lunch there today, a friendly welcome with good selection of beers. Just a few minutes away from the A30 and well worth the detour. Parking and EV charging point next to the pub
A pleasant surprise. We met family for a pre christmas meal because it is halfway between us and had the christmas menu. A few looks from the locals as we walked in, but the actual staff were all attentive and friendly. They put us in the back room as they were expecting big groups of local all day
Great food and service 👍 my son is autistic and very fussy! But he ate everything on his plate and they made a special ice-cream especially for him. Very impressed and highly recommend this lovely pub 😊
