Drake's Cafe - Tavistock - Photo album

Bought the Pelican breakfast. It was cooked perfectly and very well presented. Service was good and the wait for the food wasn't too long considering it was cooked to order.
Run by lovely people. Tasty food offerings, breakfasts are rather special! I don't eat meat but was able to have a lovely, full breakfast. Sunday roasts are lovely. Very dog friendly!!
Amazing roast & very affordable! The service was impeccable, I will return 100%. Thank you!
We visited with our MG club for a pre-run coffee. No stars for food as we didn't eat there. Forty people all arriving at the same time makes service a challenge, but eventually everyone got served OK.
We visited today and have to say that we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We had a number of dietary requirements in our party of seven and we all had a choice of what to eat. Very rare. The owner was incredibly friendly, more like a host than a waiter. I can't fault the food, I left very full a
Nice Cafe with extreme friendly owners and included teaching in correct Scone eating (Devon style) :-)
Lovely cafe utilising an old traditional pub and serving lovely well cooked food with a good choice on the menu and specials board. Often stop here while walking Drakes Trail for a break and needed refreshments and food. Always feel welcome here although it can get booked up due to its quality food
Really nice family run cafe. Had a wonderful cream tea.
Went here for breakfast and it lovely and fresh and hot, really enjoyed it. You can also take your dog here . Service was good and staff we're also friendly. Toilets are clean.
Great breakfast here this morning with family. Lovely staff, many thanks.
Great little cafe between Yelverton and Tavistock. Nice food and friendly staff.
Excellent latte! 😀😀 Very personable owner, and food was great.
Known in the area for giving the best and biggest break fast in the area. Friendly service, and the space to sit away from others. They have a large car park as well. I'll be back! SADLY TODAY 15/10/2023 WAS THE LAST DAY OF TRADING. I WILL MISS THIS PLACE.
Popped in for breakfast. Interesting little cafe. Good food, freshly cooked and locally sourced from the look of it.
Dropped in for breakfast today and as always it was first class, in fact we don't feel you could find a better breakfast anywhere. Beautifully cooked and presented in a lovely rustic cafe with a friendly owner. Do yourselves a favour and when you want a good English breakfast head for Drake's Cafe
Cosy place, friendly owner, delicious food (lovely pancakes) and coffee (love the flat white).
Lovely cafe on the edge of the Moors. Nice handmade food and friendly staff. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Parking on-site.
A great place to go and have a lovely meal, nice people and great service.
Fantastic meal on Mother's Day.
