they didn't serve the food at that time ( 8pm ) but they offered we can buy opposite… at the fish& chips take away shop and back to them, sitting & comfy eat ;)) .. so we actually did it… and in the pub ordered only a beer ;))

One of the best pubs that I've ever been fortunate enough to visit.
The landlord is friendly, (amazingly so, it's really remarkable) the staff are all friendly, the decor is brilliant.

Went to watch the football. My dog and their dog went zoomies together and it was so sweet. Lovely owner and staff v friendly.
My husband and I just had a weekend at the Tavi Inn, and I must say everything was brilliant. The room was spacious and clean, comfy bed, incredibly nice staff and a beautiful home and reshly cooked breakfast 😋

Great little pub, welcomed by a log fire. Fabulous food (compliments to the Chef!) good quality beers and attentive service, would definitely visit again.
The kind of place you can just chill in. Nice beer and gin selection. Try the gin tray out. Doesn’t take cash only card/contactless. Bring your own food if you like. Good for a date.
Owners very friendly. Excellent breakfast. Room had all the little extras to make you feel at home and spotlessly clean

Just wow, you could spend hours exploring this place. It's so quirky and interesting. The owner was amazingly friendly and as they are currently not serving food was kind enough to let us get some Cornish pasties from a nearby cafe(which were also amazing!) And let us eat them which we sat outside h
A proper Devon pub, cosy, warm and friendly. Dogs welcome. A wonderful homage to one of my own hero's William Morris. Eccentric and quirky why isn't this pub my local? I would highly recommend a visit.

Lovely Sunday roast, with delicious pudding and custard.
We went as a large family group, we were able to book tables and had a corner of the pub to ourselves.

Serves a great pint and now does food deals too. Sky sports too. Has an alleyway outside the pub if you want to drink outside although it is a bit grubby and could do with a sweep of all the fag butts!
A nice quaint little pub, that has some home features/comforts and friendly staff. A delight to visit and nice cycling stop off point.
