Never had a bad meal here. Think some of the moaners on here need to remember it is a value chain. Fabulous service as always. Keep up the good work.

Didn't wait for our food, which was nice.
Food was freshly cooked and piping hot and tasted delicious.
And being a hungry horse pub they accept the blue light discount card. Which is an added bonus.
This is a fantastic place to eat, food at the right price and even the drinks were well within our price range, we have been there 3 times now once for our anniversary and twice just for a nice meal that i did not have to cook myself. We plan to make it a monthly thing if we can, the wife does enjoy a few hours away from the flat.

We haven't been to the hungry horse for a few years. I went with my partner and friend to celebrate them passing a iynger yoga teacher qualification last night.
When we arrived the bar was busy and we had booked a table, so instead of bothering the staff we decided to try and find our table. We managed to find it, so we sat down and looked at the menu, there was so much choice, but at last we decided what to have and my partner went up to the bar ( which had calmed down by then) to order our food and drinks.
When the food arrived, very quickly it was very hot and delicious I can highly recommend the "beyond meat" burger its so tasty and cooked to perfection.
Next was the pudding and that was great, I ordered the homer doughnut with strawberrys. I must say the picture on the menu doesn't do it justice, I just thought it would be a normal doughnut and got a shock when this big pink doughnut came out filled with cream, vanilla ice cream and strawberrys. After eating all that I was full.
My partner and friends really enjoyed their meals too.
We were a bit disappointed that we couldn't get the ultimate candymania pudding (it was out of stock ) but the 2nd choice was adequate ! ; ).
The staff were all friendly and helpful and you get a blue light card discount on food too.
Thank you to all the hungry horse staff you made our night enjoyable and we will definitely be back soon.
If you love good pub food, this is the place for you at great prices. The family and I go every week as there's a deal on every day. Pay it a visit.

I've been to the Stonegallows on a number of occasions but haven't been for a while. Went last week for lunch and I have to say it was the best experience I've had. All the staff were helpful and friendly pointing out where sauces etc were available. Food came out hot and without delay, the chicken New Yorker was fantastic. I see they now take dogs in the bar which is a great addition. I would definitely recommend and will be back.
Wonderful visit with my husband for a late lunch. The service from Harrison was excellent and the food was delicious. Compliments to the chefs. Highly recommended.
Went for breakfast. Great selection of portion sizes and other breakfast item. Would recommend.
Much better experience tonight. Food was good and the wait was much less than the given time...
Went for brunch and had the breakfast in bread. The staff were lovely and friendly and happily swapped out ingredients for the meat free version as we are vegetarians.
Really well priced and the children's outdoor play area was nice with the exception of a part being broken meaning no access to the slide.
Only downsides were the broken play park and a weird smell on entering. But this wouldn't stop us visiting again.
Great staff and service. Had the Home run burger and was almost too much. We will be back.
