Popped in randomly this evening and we're definitely coming back!! Service was fab, owner was very welcoming and the food was out of this world! The fish cakes were my favourite, gluten free and full of flavour, highly recommend! But the highlight of the evening was meeting the chef! She was friendly and funny and made us feel like she went above and beyond for us. Noticed the garden area out the back on our way in fully equipped with a bouncy castle. Looks like an amazing place to sit in the summer, our 8 year old is going to love it as much as we do. Thankyou for a great meal! ☺️
Went here for a meal yesterday for a meal with family, we were well welcomed and served very quickly. The food was absolutely amazing really good quality food! Would defiantly recommend going if you are passing! Thank you to the hosts that served us �
Had a brilliaant time at the party celebrating a year of opening.
I went along with my partner and our children 9, 8, 4 and 1.
They all had a brilliant time and we were amazed that it was all totally free.
The magician was my 4 yr old daughters favourite part of the day, closely followed by the disco. My boys loved all the games that were available and of course loved the pool table.
The kids buffet was wonderful and there was a huge choice of food and treats.
All staff were friendly, happy to help and smiling.
Highly recommed this charming pub.
Have been here a few times recently since the new management have taken over and I can honestly say it has greatly improved!! The service is great as is the food. A nice calm friendly pub!

We went there twice for my wife. Easy to access. Free parking. The optometrist is a lovely lady who can explain everything. Very satisfied both times. Also, the building is very old and it's kinda give us the feeling of a heritage site visiting. We will definitely go there again.

Absolutely first class service at Crown Eyecare. I needed an urgent appointment as my vision had changed and Karen fitted me in at short notice. She gave me a really thorough eye test, confirmed my suspicions about my vision and answered all my questions. I chose some new frames with Katie's help and really liked the choice available and her expert guidance. They followed all the covid-19 safety precautions and I am so glad I went as 'I can see clearly now'. I will be recommending them to all my friends and colleagues from now on.
Crown Eyecare is just down the road from me, and I am so glad I picked this opticians. Katie and Karen made me feel very welcome and really took the time to assit me, from the moment I walked in, to the eye examinations and then the process of choosing new glasses!
